Does anyone here play on the settler difficulty just for fun? I know that when I get bored, I sometimes just play a settler game, but with extra challenges, like getting 30 cities before 1 AD, Finishing with 100+ cities, completing all of the wonders, spreading a corporation to at least 75...

I'm wondering if it's possible to culturally take over a civilization. I remember one game, where I was nuking the crap out of Gilgamesh and I took two cities before he capitulated. I didn't want Gilgamesh to be able to do anything for the rest of the game so that it would practically be taking...

I'm just wondering, since I've never seen this happen, but does the AI use Great Generals to give 20 XP to a unit, or do they only settle when the AI is using them?
