LOL, let me try and clarify. The game limits your ability to gain experience from barbarians after 10 points. Is there a way to change this or remove it or is it hard coded and must wait till SDK?

The unpak fix worked for my Nvidia card, I bet it would band-aid your problem until the patch

Ok, I fixed it. I got desperate and tried the PAKBUILDER Fix suggested for the Radeon problem and it seems to have fixed it.
