I prefer freedom to order but it really depends on the game. If I am not leading in culture I usually chose order to avoid a revolution, since the AI usually goes for it. I haven't tried autocracy in BNW so far.

It feels much better when a Russian city (order) decides to join your empire (freedom). And Cathy still has the guts to say "your empire looks quite puny, did you forget to expand your borders?" happened to me last game. Anyway, I like this thread, hope I can think about something funny!

What you posted makes all the sense, completion times should remain unchanged, unless they have a spy in my capital that can see on which turn I would finish the current wonder, then rush to finish it faster. More than that would be really cheating ;) but seriously, IDK if the AI would use a spy...
