I keep hearing about city size 5. I need explanation about the importance of this.
And yes, I play on immortal and am likely asking a truly derp question. :goodjob:
This was on twitch so I have the whole game available. I have a highlight from the moment I began constructing the Apollo mission.

I'm still very new to immortal level, so I'm still getting used to it. The major issue I'm running into is AI military. Even on emperor I was able to easily keep up with the AI military, now I can spam military constantly in every city and remain in last place. War by turn 200 is literally a...
You should rarely ever be broke. I always sell my luxuries and keep my happiness just above unhappiness. Friend all mercantile city states and watch your happiness and gold just explode.
I've been playing Civilizations since the release of Civ 4 but never really got into it enough to actually get into the higher levels until lately. Going from Prince to King was the biggest challenge yet and I hope the higher difficulties are as much fun.
I've been drifting from game to game...
It happens at random. I'll see a city will grow next turn, but the next turn I'm not notified of the city growth. This can be really annoying if I'm not paying attention, since the automated cities aren't best at deciding optimization of tiles.
I've never noticed the AI knowing where ruins are. I have noticed that the AI does seem to like to follow you around at times. I just like to think the devs figured, "Just have them follow the players scouts. God knows they're too stupid to find anything themselves.
You can figure out the cities HP by looking at your own cities and learning how they grow over time. How many units it will take is kinda luck based. You want to keep your ranged units safe so they safely pelt the city from a distance, while your melee wait for the city hp to drop enough to take...
Am I the only one that never realized how awesome water tiles were until they no longer gave money? Hooooooly crap, I'm actually going bankrupt. I've never had that happen before. Interesting! :mischief:
The trade routes seems pretty interesting so far. Already lost one to a barb (that city...
I'm honestly feeling that maybe I can improve my policies. I used to start with liberty for the culture, but recently I've began starting with tradition instead (That free worker and settler is just AWESOME).
However, there are parts in liberty that are just as awesome, like timing it so you...
Need a mod that shows you the invisible opinion in the diplo screen. No wonder some civs seem to hate my guts, even though it says friendly.
Just looking for what is generally accepted. I've tried 6 apart and that was alright, and I've also tried 4 and that seemed alright too.
