    How many military units should I build?

    In SP, just enough to ward off a potential threat so you don't need to go into panic mode if a surprise declaration occurs. That's not much tbh. Aside from that, military units that satisfy eurekas and barb clearing duty is the main role in non dom games.

    Do you have drag and drop or single click enabled for moving policy cards/great works? I single click on the work and scroll with my mouse wheel over to where I want the work to go. Go to the options menu -> Interface -> Enable replace drag and drop with clicks.

    Do you like hydroelectic dams?

    In the grand scheme, hydro power is not needed. If i need powered buildings, a well placed IZ does the job just fine. If not, solar farms are reliable. I build very few dams as it is so the opportunities are few and far between.

    Problems with Using Builders

    There's nothing that specifically tells you. Many improvements have placement restrictions that can be found in the Civilpedia; however, that unfortunately doesn't always tell the tale. If you give me a detailed example, I'll take stab at why you can't place the tile improvement.

    Well that's a big deal because +1 tourism in each district within 6 tiles of cap is kind of trash. But if it's every district globally then that could offset the -25% tourism via trade routes. This Japan is looking very interesting indeed...

    This is a good point. If we're to be incentivized to settle all around the cap, a la Maya, then coastal starts conflict with that strategy. It's my understanding the start bias is tied to the Civ, not the leader, so I'm not too hopeful. I don't think Tokugawa will be geared toward culture...

    Zulu buildings still aren't receiving +2 gold and +1 science in captured cities containing Ikandas, whether the Ikanda and its building were already present at time of capture or not.     I agree with the sentiment. I don't play barb mode so my game was unaffected by that mechanic. I didn't encounter 6 camps in my game....sometimes I only get one or can't clear a camp at all depending on the map. Extra gold from barbs is a nice to have overall, but inferior to free monuments...

    I build Nuclear power plants in space races. It helps power all of my labs and stadiums without crippling my diplo per turn. Not impactful for the space projects themselves, as they get chopped and the IZ project guarantees 100% power for the duration to Mars. The projects should be launched...
