    Why do these tiles with no nearby lakes or rivers have fresh water?

    As you can see, I'm able to build a farm on this tile, but the only nearby water is the ocean. Both my city and this adjacent tile have fresh water, but I can't tell why.     Oh wow I didn't realize the AI workers were that bad. I guess I'll take a more hands-on approach in my next game.

    I don't think that will do what I need. I want auto workers to modify old improvements as the game determines is necessary, but I want the ability override it on a per-tile basis.

    I often find myself creating canals using forts, but my automated workers occasionally roll up and try to replace the fort with something else. Is there a way to put some sort of flag on a specific tile telling auto workers to leave it alone?
