A few weeks ago i started to play all difficulties again and wanted to win without reloading etc. now i reached monarch and would like to make it public. dont know if im good enough to lead athens to dominate the rest of the world - we will see. wish me luck !

after i started to play without cheating (reloading of saves, restarting until i got a good starting position etc etc) i started to fight me through the difficulties and now i finally finished regent - that was a quite tough fight....

well, on my current game i lost in a big battle a hell of alot tanks to cavalary - THAT really annoys me.
it were not just a few, a hell of alot - but after all balance is very important.
btw, i liked the combat system in Call to Power - you could group units - very nice :) - anyone else...
yea its regicide - and the plan is made....just its not a coastal city and my question was more a "morale" question....
is it allowed - i mean a "normal" victory like any other when i beat someone with breaking a rop.....before im dont have a good mind about this i cannot tell my tank-armies...
Problem is on my current regent game that im in the lead of everything - but maybe the inca will build the spaceship before me.... (they are 2. strongest)
as im playing regicide it would be enough to kill their king-unit to kill em - if i do a rop - build massive units i could fook over their...
If i kill someone while having a right of passage with him, is it an accepted tactic or gives it the victory a very bad taste ?
with bad taste i mean like reloading a savegame file etc (dont know how i can say it lol - damn english)
i just dont want to win through "unlegal" tactics...
on chieftain and warlord i would put the science bar as high as possible (or as soon as you only need 4 turns for a tech)
that could be on 100%. id go for republic and currency asapand than trying to figure out what you need to support your building you will have atleast from there on...
