well, on my current game i lost in a big battle a hell of alot tanks to cavalary - THAT really annoys me. it were not just a few, a hell of alot - but after all balance is very important. btw, i liked the combat system in Call to Power - you could group units - very nice :) - anyone else...

If i kill someone while having a right of passage with him, is it an accepted tactic or gives it the victory a very bad taste ? with bad taste i mean like reloading a savegame file etc (dont know how i can say it lol - damn english) i just dont want to win through "unlegal" tactics...

on chieftain and warlord i would put the science bar as high as possible (or as soon as you only need 4 turns for a tech) that could be on 100%. id go for republic and currency asapand than trying to figure out what you need to support your building you will have atleast from there on...

i pay upfront...easier to calculate - always that shocked if the balance is so negative :P
