Siesta Guru, apparently, another forum member has found a fix for the (almost not existing) use of air units by the AI (see https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/airpower-ai-fix.26849/). Do you think you could include that in your mod?
Have the achievements been sorted out already? Since we can only play Alexander in the Alexander-Scenario, they cannot devote as many achievements to that, as they did with the other scenarios we got so far (Jadwiga, Australia).
AFAIK we have:
1.) Base game - Macedon: 2 achievements
- Win with...
Thanks for the advice regarding the strategy. It does help quite a bit. Without chopping I made it to just over 600, so when I started chopping during my next run, the 900 for deity was a piece of cake.
I have to say I like this scenario a lot. Very refreshing idea. I wonder whether that is a...
I could download it now. :) Was just worried that they would fix it only "soon" and not immediately... ;)
Now I am lookig forward to playing the Aussie-Scenario!
So, if you have a hard copy of the anniversary edition, you are screwed...? Uff! :(
And how long does it take them to sort this out? Is it so conplicated to attach this DLC to the steam accounts with the anniversary edition?
(I got a support ticket myself, hopefully they get numerous tickets so...
Just wanted to drop by and thank you Eagle for your diligent work here. I was attentatively reading all your forecasts. Hope you will be around for the next patch anticipation thread... :)
I am playing as Rome on continents/standard size and speed/King. I have just entered the Atomic Era and attempt a ScienceVic.
What I liked in my first game:
- Lots of choices, I am playing much more slowly than in Civ4 and CiV. The government system is so much better than in CiV.
- AI escorted...
It would be great if it was possible to manually micromanage amenities. Especially in the early stages of a game. Lateron microing amenities might become a hassle. Thus having an option (automated - manually) would be great (similar to the placement of citizens in the city screen, only on a...
Sorry, but can we trust this information? It is now several hours since it was posted. However, there is nothing on Steam nor on the official Civ6 News website nor on the official Civ6 Youtube site by now.
But didn't Ed relocate one of the Traders in his playthorugh yesterday? I think I remember that he wanted to send it from Rome, so he had to relocate. May I am wrong.
Well, maybe they balance that with the warmonger penalty. Such as: all casus belli options are greyed out and/or warmonger penalties are heavily increased. In that case you would think twice if you want to exploit that.
Thanks for that info. :) I thought it was called "legacy", because you profit from it only if you have the respective government type for a longer time - and that this was the only reason - (to provide an incentive not to switch). Where did they mention that you keep the bonus even if you switch?
Well, that would be great. However, they mentioned that they wanted to avoid too much micromanaging in that respect. It sounded as if they have automated that "dept. of luxuries" (or how they called it) completely.
Really, you keep the legacy bonus after switching to another government type? So, for example, over a game of about 300 turns I would be able to accumulate 5 legacy bonuses (if I switched always after 60 turns when I have the full bonus accumulated)?
