    Enhanced User Interface

It merely says "[2103756.484] Initializing Lua 5.1.4" and nothing else, though. Possibly I don't have logging enabled, I don't really know. Anyway, I managed to work around my issue by deleting the FrontEnd directory, so I get the original initial menus.

    Enhanced User Interface

I'm having an issue with EUI where I can't continue a multiplayer game. When I try to load my multiplayer save, I am returned to the main menu, and then I can't really do anything anymore except exit the game. I can load the save and resume the game fine if I remove EUI.

Single Player bugs and crashes v39 plus (SVN) - After the 20th of July 2019

There are several references in the text to "Exotic Herbavours". This should be spelled "Exotic Herbivores".

Civ V or Civ V BNW?

Since the CP requires all the DLC, I don't see how you could be playing without BnW.

    MongooseMod and Totestra

I wouldn't. Like I said, I just figured it'd be easier to incorporate Totestra's routines with PerfectMongoose than to adapt Totestra itself to MongooseMod, but from what you said it sounds like I was wrong about that. If you do decide to update Totestra itself, PerfectMongoose is neither here...

    MongooseMod and Totestra

Ah, I figured since Totestra is PW2 based it might have a lot in common with PerfectMongoose, but I guess that might have been a mistake. The main thing I like about Totestra is the way it shapes the landmasses. It offers the user a little more control over that than PW2/3, and the end result...

    MongooseMod and Totestra

I tried your suggested fix, but unfortunately no dice. Ideally I suppose this script would be incorporated into PerfectMongoose, though I suspect that would be a boatload of work.

    MongooseMod and Totestra

Hi. I was trying to play the mod in combination with the Totestra mapscript, but unfortunately this makes Civ 4 crash (despite the fact that the mod is listed as compatible). Is there any chance someone can provide a version of the mapscript that will work with the mod?

For some reason that link doesn't work when followed from here or the blog. It does work if I enter the URL manually or when following it from the Communitas wiki.

    NiGHTS: General Discussion

Actually Markus, wouldn't you also want to redefine happiness to work on a per-city basis for NiGHTS, given half the chance? I realize that the AI might need to be substantially rewritten for that, but who knows, the modding community may provide.

    NiGHTS: General Discussion

Are you running the expansion? This mod is only for the vanilla game so far.

Yep, can confirm this behavior on my end.

Sid Meier's Reaction to the Eternal War

I do think Civ V deserves some of the criticism it gets. Unfortunately I was always highly annoyed by the infinite unit stacks of the older games, and being free of them in Civ V has made it very hard for me to go back. Agreed about the mods though. I love modding, and Civ 4 has some of the...

    How to Break Civ NiGHTS

A thought after reading, wouldn't the way to combat ICS be to discourage growing faster than a certain rate? Like, incur a heavy penalty if the amount of cities in an empire exceeds the size of the capital.

How to combat AI's ICS? And ... what's up with Great Engineers?

Don't get me wrong though, I think your effort in making and maintaining this mod is great and, by it, you've done a lot of people a favor. I'm a big fan of game modding in general, so I quite respect anyone who spends time and effort on making mods in the way you've done. It just doesn't seem...

How to combat AI's ICS? And ... what's up with Great Engineers?

Warlord, most of the time, which is difficulty 3. In one game where I shared a small continent with China, playing as Iroquois, I thought I was doing reasonably well, getting 4-5 cities up against Wu's 2, and I was ahead in score too, but then she declared war on me (because I boxed her in with...

How to combat AI's ICS? And ... what's up with Great Engineers?

I kind of feel the same way though, Markus. I've tried several games with the mod now, and I find I can never really keep up with the AI - I can keep up in some aspects if I focus on that, but other areas inevitably suffer. I've repeatedly read comments like "it's possible to do X with proper...
