I don't see an ini file i can get into. I see all the foulders, then a bunch of dll files, 1 XML, 1 mcl, the readme, the gamestart and the pitboss. if the gamestart is the ini file, i can't get into it.

Yes, all the graphics are on low, audio is off. I checked to see if it was the graphics settings for the leaderheads, but it wasn't.

I can't seem to find the .ini, where is it in the Beyond the Sword folder, and what is it's exact name?

I turn movies off, it's the leaderheads that are the problem, the two should be unrelatd.

I'm probably using the minimum, i'm not to much for knowing what junk is in my computer. The leaderheads and the slide show worked fine for me in vanilla and warlords. I'm wondering if it's some faulty xml code, but i don't see how.

Personally I find that in early game, an archer, a spearman, a chariot, an axeman, and a catapult in the same stack is unstoppable.

what about making an entire expansion based on it after warlords?

DOn't sign open borders. Best way to spread your own, build roads between cities, build missionaries. effects, non that i can tell except the other leader gets a line of sight in your territory, just spread your religion into the city to get rid of any unhappiness.

I don't know, has ALexander ever been friendly with the human player? I've never seena game where the human dosn't want to crush him, and i've yet to see him happy with the human player.

Actually the game isn't really about micromanagment, they've tried to get rid of micro-managment as much as possible, but still keep it around for guys like logical_psycho.

OPen broders are fine, unlike Civ3 they can't get in your way to stop you from moving everywhere (headache in civ3 where i lost my cross country railroad system because of the AI stopping in the middle of the tracks), and because unlike civ3, missionaries can be sent out.

Idea to stop that: Go to the options, choose "Automated workers don't change existing improvments"
