This is what I thought when looking at that city. 1NW would've gotten more land tiles, the wheat, horse, sheep, and all for the cost of only 3 useless coast tiles and of course not being coastal. And that jackpot city is ridiculous. It's OCC worthy! I would consider moving the capital there...

The only way I'd consider warrior rushing if I started on a plains hill (+1 hammer in city tile) and had a plains hammer forest hill in the BFC to work (3H). Forget the worker and forget about growth, just spam warriors. If you don't meet those conditions, I'd wait until bronze working or animal...

If you can build Axemen then you can build Spearmen. 1-2 Spearman (+perhaps 1-2 Shock Axes) in your stack and most AIs will not attack that stack with a chariot. Since Chariots only get their bonus on the attack and they're worse than Archers in cities... CR3 Axemen have no hard counter.

CR3 Axeman have no hard counter in their time period... HAs, spearman.

Land is an investment in your future. Only stop expanding when expanding would not allow you to accomplish a critical short term goal.

2E loses the grassland pigs, the move will cost you two turns, you lose 1 base hammer from the city tile... Even with the ocean tiles, it is surely suboptimal. He's playing Willem, so by the time he has to work those tiles he will surely have a Dike and a Lighthouse which makes those ocean...
