How do I get some really nice food bonuses? It seems like city growth is the factor for all science and money creation, but Wheat doesn't do anything? Is there any thing I can do to dramatically increase food production? If gold and science are calculated empire wide, is food? if not why not?

* You should be able to tell combat Percentages with another unit before starting a war. I disagree with this. I like that you can't tell how a battle will turn out before you declare war.... you need to be sure you can win before you start and it adds a little bit of thrill to war.

I did this with the aztecs. Culling other civs is worth two or three social policies a peace.

I love the Aztec Unique building... it boons population +15% food is always a good idea. Ashame their UU is weaker than barbarians.

A human player would have been able to trash your 4 GDRs, then you would have been out of gold and out of luck.

Only connect your production cities to your capital 1 or 2. Believe me Sid wants you building railroads ;)

I played on a large Earth Map.

I played as the Aztecs... basically rushed to Horseback Riding. Built three of them. Rush honor tree for a free great general... Murder your enemies. Be virtually unstoppable for the next 3000 years. At one point things got a little weird so I upgraded them all to knights... unstoppable...

That sucks. Sounds like a bug to me. Everyone has to go home first to get the promotion? Week sauce.:scan:

Playing as the Aztecs I rushed to optics to cross the Mediterranean. No dice... couldn't embark.

I made peace with Siam... and then for the rest of the game could never declare war again. The peace treaty ran its course but the declare war button was grayed out for the rest of the game.

Now that is a cool bug.

The civilopedia says if I take my Great merchant to a city-state I can get gobs of gold. Then When I try to move the unit into the city-states borders it says it will cause me to declare war on them??? I was like well they are my friends but maybe if I spend 250 gold to make them allies. Nope...

I made peace with Siam, Diplomacy log says the treaty ended like 15-25 years ago. He gave me open borders for peace... but for some reason declaring war is greyed out. WTF? How do I attack this guy?? I seriously got so bored waiting I took out the greeks and two city states in the mean time...
