Start Morning Phase One
Below is the first journal entry of a non-player sailor, chronicling the events aboard the Impending Retribution. Updates will be written through the eyes of this sailor as new journal entries. Do not try to perform player actions against him, as his character has no impact on any events that take place. He is merely a bystander writing down his thoughts from a non-omniscient third person point of view.
Journal Entry Number One. 06:00 shipboard time.
Dear Journal:
Fortunately the weather as quieted down enough so I can write this without scribbling all over the place. Damn swells ruined the first page of this thing... And by the way, that intro sucks. "Dear Journal..." What is this, first grade? Note to self: change it.
Why Im starting this log is baffling to me as well. Ive never been one to write things down, but the events aboard the ship are getting out of hand. Guys are getting killed while others seem to be trying to sink the ship. Our Captain being killed is probably the least of our worries. That at least we can replace, at least temporarily until we make it back to shore. Its the equipment Im worried about. Just about every piece of gear is offline and were sitting ducks without it.
Someone is going to have to take charge of the situation. I have no idea who is who. Other guys Ive talked with seem to be leery of just about everyone, and that goes for each other as well. Hell, most of the guys seem pretty spent psychologically already. In any event, were going to need a new Captain soon, or else well all be led to slaughter. Someone also found a Master Key and it was decided that wed vote on a new location for it as well. Finally, another decided to put Whitower's Revolver up for vote as well.
Thus ends my first entry. Ill come back from time to time and update this thing just so we have something to look back on as the days continue. I just hope my days continue in the meantime. I just want to get home

"I can understand our Warrant Officer's reasoning but in the same manner I think that's why I would like the Master Key. I think we do need a Captain and I'll probably support someone, just have to see which superior officers feel suited for the job."
Haven't heard from civplayah and I very much agree with earlier reasoning that we should watch out for people sneaking off on their own, that would be a security threat.

If I may say so sirs and gentlemen, however, I believe the wisdom of needing this key for repair duties is questionable. Many of you repairmen could be given appropriate access by superior officers without the key granting you reign all over the ship, or the risk the key falls into the wrong hands. That said as I admitI'd have no immediate use for it we could leave the key in Autolycus' capable hands to start.
