I never sent invasion orders this turn, so white peace it is, I can't speak for Egypt but we'll cross that bridge wen we come to it.

well, looks like Spain will lose more provinces, since Egypt and maryland likely didn't send orders to stop the invasion.

i have harsh (for me) terms, in case the above is true.
How quickly your defiance turned to submission.

well, im sure Egypt will agree to white peace now that Maryland quit the war.

so, how about it?

you have chosen wisely. for that, you may keep whats left of the Spanish mercenaries.

Good, now the Ugly War of Spanish Aggression (Maryland's official name for the war) is over lets take care of the middle east. If Spain backs my claim to Lebanon I'll give them back Gibraltar.

Getting Israel was one of the Goals of Spain for some time. now the cost of getting Israel increased to a point where it'll take more than 100+ turns to pay off. it is also not a Spanish core province, while Gibraltar is.

(i prefer to think that you two trashed Spain to prevent me from my goal)

Update 13
1968

Nearly ten million died as the Khitans march into the Holy Land. Meanwhile, in the Nevada desert, a terrible new weapon of destruction is tested. Reports of an outbreak of a contagious disease dubbed "X" has broken out in South America as the DB Corporation landed troops unopposed into the new capital. The Dictator of X was found dead with a letter detailing the release of X's single biological weapon.

Special Events

The USSR continues its push into space and into research. TK's impressive RPing this turn has earned him an extra XP to spend for Turn 13.

The DB Corporation forcefully annexed the Nation of X. The X Dictator though released the biological weapon he held onto to use against Spain on his own territory in the South America. An outbreak of X has occurred. There's a 30% spread over land and 15% spread by sea. Infected territory marked with white circle with green outline.

Blockades

Spain is being blockaded by Egypt and Maryland.

The Soviets are blocking access through their controlled seas to Maryland and Egypt.

NPC Diplomacy

Portugal is now an NPC. The Japanese Subsidiary is now an NPC.

The American League of Prosperity is proud to announce it has detonated a hydrogen bomb in the Nevada test site and now sit on a stockpile of the dangerously new weapon. Rumor has it that the hydrogen bombs are multitudes stronger than the atomic bombs used in Iberia. The atomic bombs used in Gibraltar were between 10 and 15 kilitons while the new hydrogen bombs that are, for now, delivered through strategic bombs, are between 20 and 30 megatons.

In order to create a new delivery system, the American League is annoncing the North American Space Agency which plans to land on the moon by 1979 at the latest.

Khitan War of Aggression

Khitan, not content with the way the peace neogotiations were ignoring Khitan's demands, ordered its massive army to cross into the Marylander/Egyptian Occupation Zone of the Holy Land. The Khitan Army ran into several snags. Unlike the war against the Holy Land, the fighters here were well-fought and defended tooth and nail for every inch.

Quick summary: Most of the territories bordering Khitan belonging to Egypt or the Occupation Zone fell to Khitan.

American League of Prosperity

Due to the growing violence because of Khitan, we are announcing a defensive alliance with fellow nuclear powers, Portugal and Greater South Africa. Together, we have 37 atomic weapons and 11 hydrogen bombs. That is enough power to destroy 37% of Khitans Army is one salvo and our stockpiles are growing faster than we believe Khitan's army can expand while being in a state of war in the Middle East. So, if Khitan feels like it can take India the way it's easily walking through the Middle East, be our guest.

Furthermore, if the X Virus spreads into Portuguese South America, the DB Corporation will have to pay for the inconvenience.

There's a new world order and it comes in the name of Fascism.

Signed,

President Fawne Till of the American League of Prosperity
President Andreas Rhoodie of Greater South Africa
King Dom Pedro IV of the Portuguese Empire

Western European Union

Will continue to expand our stockpile of atomic weapons and are growing increasingly nervous of the stability of out Spanish neighbor.

I thought I made 32 armies. I had 100 last turn... so shouldn't I have 101 now?

edit: just saw the rest of it. Khitans can go have intercourse with themselves.
