I see that this is the Kongo after it´s reconstruction before WW2.
Is it possible to have the earlier Battlecruiser version of Kongo from pre-WW1 ??

If not I think we are lacking Japanese Battlecruisers..
Not to many was built by the Japanese, The Kongoclass was the primary one having the Hiei, Kirishima and Haruna added to Kongo.
These however I think was reclassified after WW1 to Battleships.

Perhaps the Japanese forces should be content with Armoured or Prtoected Cruisers before building it´s first battlecruisers ?

If not finding this the Civ4 version of the Pallada Protected cruisers might work.

I think you got this in the bag already waiting to be made.

Yes the Kongo class were called "fast battleship" after they had been refitted in 1931. But they were even battle cruisers actually, I think.:)

It is pretty much target on to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kongo1944.png, so yes, it would be the fast battleship version. Might be able to do battlecruiser also, see below.

I left a post in the naval discussion thread about the Battlecruiser version.

But Pallada will be done, it's on the list.
