Wishing to expand trade to the north with his Israelite neighbors, to once again bring the sons of Ishmael and Isaac together, Amīr al-Mu'minīn (Commander of the Faithful) Asadel ibn Abdulla ibn Hashem has funded an interstate system to assist goods entering the country in getting to their destination and has passed laws increasing the rights of the working class and middle class. Research Trade I with 10 MP, and start Trade II with 1 MP
Asadel has also led the sucessful conquest of the Omani and Yemeni coasts subduing the wild tribes that had taken power there since the nuclear war. The Sunnis of Arabia have held celebrations as the caliphate furthers its goal of becoming the only islamic state. Soon, the Hashemites birth right will be reclaimed.

Update 3: 1960-1965
Several nations did not expand in this era (Read: Did not send orders). Those that did, did rapidly and ruthlessly. Three nations: Crimea, Tartarstan, and Mecca, all did exceptionally well in this era (Read: I gave you three RP bonuses. Look for them in the stats!). Mecca and Israel, after initial tensions, now seem to be moving towards a trade agreement. And finally, a new nation arose in South Africa.

Moshe Dayan gazed across the Suez Canal into Egypt. Only a few years ago, this was enemy land. Now it was Israeli and Dayan enjoyed the irony that the Israelites were crossing back into Egypt. Now all the Suez Canal was his, and with it came great power. He could embargo any enemies by simply forbidding them access to the Canal. Also, the Israelis could now sail a ship directly to Asia, if need be, instead of going around Africa or across the Atlantic and Pacific. Things were looking up for Israel. Further plans for expansion into Egypt were created from taxes collected from Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon, which were also now Israeli. Also, trade had begun to spring up between the Israelis and the southern Arabs. The sons of Yaakov and the sons of Ishmael had out the differences of the past behind and were looking forward to a bright future.

Put 15 MP in Trade II
Caliph Asadel ibn Abdulla ibn Hashem, has seized many of the rich oil kingdoms in the east of Arabia. Removing the Sheikhs from power, citing the ancient claim of the descendants of Mohammed. Only the Emir of Dubai remained outside of the Caliphate, drawing on the strength of Persian allies in the east.
On a side note Asadel has sent messages to all nations querying whether muslims are allowed to go on the Hajj. He also dispatched a messenger to Israel requesting a trade agreement when the technology is availible, and securing rights of passage through the Suez. In return, Mecca will offer exclusive rights for Israeli companies to set up in the recently seized oil fields. If they accept they will be the only nation with such rights. Operation Patriarch wil be discussed as well, to transfer muslims and jews across the line of demarcation once order is restored in the lawless regions bordering the Ishmael-Isaac line.

Question. How can momo have colonial tech if he never reached naval 4? I thought that was a requirement.

Since his is a contiguous empire (it doesn't go overseas), it doesn't require Naval Tech to make colonies in Africa, so long as the empire is contiguous. Same situation in Russia, Panama, Turkey, etc. I believe I wrote that in the rules.
