Simple IOT

If I put all my income into Colonial this turn, will that fix it?

EDIT: And please, call me Olaf. :D

That will get you up to Colonial Tech 2 with 20 invested into 3. You can only get two provinces in Turkey.

They fit in well enough with the story. I'll get the others later.

Update 6: 1970-1975

This period of time would be known as the Age of Decline. It was at this point that three nations: Narania, the USPN, and the UNR all fell into a state of anarchy. The leaders who had risen these nations out of the ashes all abdicated their positions, and no suitable replacement could be found. Only time will tell if these nations can rise again.

Other than that, the only remarkable event was the Crimean invasion of Greece and Turkey. A story from that campaign quickly grew into a legendary myth, and the armies of Crimea were given an immense boost to their morale. (10 free MP into Army Tech for Crimea.)

If a country has as its player "Open", then anyone not currently in this IOT can take over the country and do with it what they wish. MP will not be accumulated and nothing will happen in an Open state. If they are not claimed in three turns, the countries will fall and be completely destroyed.

Korea is going to enter an Open state next turn unless orders are sent in.

bestrfcplayer: I screwed up your stats for military tech last turn, mistakingly stating that you only needed 10 MP to advance to Army Tech II instead of 20 MP as it should be. Sorry if this caused you confusion.

Crimean Orders

Olav, Governor of Turkey stared down into the dregs of his kafay. Bitter and broken, crumbled to dust, to be blown by the wind... he smiled with satisfaction. Just like the Turks. Those who had remained in Turkey were quickly being driven back, towards the fabled land of Israel. More of the Turkish coast had been claimed. The Crimeans now had almost complete control of the Marmara Sea. The goal set by Czar Yaroslav had been achieved.

But it appeared that the current Czar, Alexandyr, was less than satisfied with the driving out of the Turkish people. Many of the more determined rebels were rumoured to have fled to Greece. Nobody knew why this was, or even if the rumour was true; it was said the Czar had tossed a sword to choose which rumours to follow. The sword had, against all the odds, remained in the air. A great bird had taken it to Greece.

Greece was the site of an early nuclear plant, before the new era had begun. It, along with several others worldwide, had detonated in 1950, kiling all nearby... and eventually all of the inhabitants of Greece. Only recently had seeds of new life begun to appear in that... hellhole.

Still, the Czar had gone there in his search for the Turks. In places, such as the site of old Salonika, he'd left permanent garrisons. An unlucky Romanian lieutenant by the name of Vladimir had been left there to govern the western Bosporus region. A minor garrison had also been left near old Edirne.

Reports from governor Vladimir said that Alexandyr had been unsuccessful in his search for the Turks... so far. As he neared Corinth, the site of the old nuclear plant, the trail grew stronger. Did this worry Olav? Vladimir? ...Alexandyr?

The answer, of course, was yes.

Israel:

All my MP into Naval Tech (except for 5 MP)

I didn't have time to make a map, sorry

---------------------------

The military jeep stopped suddenly in the Egyptian desert. The Nile, close by, roared as it always had. The nuclear war had barely affected it's coarse, though most of the vegetation and animals were now dead, except for the mutant croc-hippos.
"Why did we stop, your highness?"
"You mean you don't recognize it?"
"Uh, recognize what?"
Moshe Dayan dug a little and soon stones protruded from the earth.
"What is this?"
"This, is one of the Wonders of the World: The Great Pyramids."
"WHAT? No way!"
"You question your king? It was destroyed when Cairo took a direct hit from a Russian ICBM. Hmm, the landscape is rather incomplete without it... I know what to do! Begin a rebuilding project immediately!"
"Yes your highness."

Spend 5 MP rebuilding Pyramids (can I get some kind of bonus?)

Claim the two tiles directly west of Cairo and the one bordering the Mediterranean Sea

--------------

News had come that Turkish immigrants were fleeing into the Israeli province of Suria (Syria). Investigations reviled that they were fleeing "Yellow Krymeans" from Europe. Moshe Dayan ordered the Israeli army north, towards Turkey.

Claim 5 provinces in Turkey, preferably on the ocean

The Caliph would like to welcome all muslim turks fleeing the crimeans over the Ishmael-Isaac line.

Prospo, do you accept the trade agreement?

EDIT: just saw this:

On a side note Asadel has sent messages to all nations querying whether muslims are allowed to go on the Hajj. He also dispatched a messenger to Israel requesting a trade agreement when the technology is availible, and securing rights of passage through the Suez. In return, Mecca will offer exclusive rights for Israeli companies to set up in the recently seized oil fields. If they accept they will be the only nation with such rights. Operation Patriarch wil be discussed as well, to transfer muslims and jews across the line of demarcation once order is restored in the lawless regions bordering the Ishmael-Isaac line.

Yes I agree. You may use the Suez Canal and why not just have an Open-Borders Agreement so any Jew, Christian, or Muslim may cross?

We are not quite ready to let the christians cross (We're still sore from the crusades and the war on terror), but Jews are welcome.

By the way, both nations require Trade Tech 2 to have a trade agreement.

And, sorry momo, but this is supposed to be nice and simple, so I can't really give you a bonus for the Pyramids except role-playing bonuses. You'll have to find some other use for your 5 MP.

Orders due July 22, 6:00 PM U.S. Central Time.
