[Large Mafia August] Archetype mafia game thread

HAHA! Who was right?! Just the icing on the cake, though tbh I only wanted him dead because my faction goal is to eliminate the trekkies. Him injured was just an excuse.

Well, i don't think this really proves anything. The evidence was pretty flimsy, and as he pointed out, both kills went through.

I suspect one of the dead had an ability to damage his killer.
 
If I die tonight though, it's either TLD or BSmith. So vote them everybody!
 
If you don't die tonight, you're still a good target to look at.

We have two scum factions and we aren't sure they work together so voting The Bake doesn't clear you of being a hero.
 
It's quite possible but clearing someone because of their voting record is dangerous at this point. If you want to do that, look at me lynching Yoshiegg. And we'll probably find a "good" vote from anyone still in the game.

The living members of the game--only 7 at this point--knew things were getting close. In the morning they found that turquoiside was killed by a decisive blow.

oh yeah, similar sentiments about timing of today (would want 22:00 instead of 0:00 as an update time for instance) but w/e.

Also, if we hit a townie today the game's over so let's choose wisely. I think BSmith's late vote trying to save The Bake is fishy but I will listen to any other arguments. Let's try to be active, yes?

How do you know that none of the scum factions have been eliminated? What gave you that idea? Or is there something you're not telling us

If both scum factions are alive shouldn't there have been 2 kills at night?

Well, juKar-C, Great GM Kennigit said that if a faction is eliminated he will say so. So far, neither Blue factions have been confirmed by Great GM Kennigit to have been eliminated.

And these could be plenty of reasons there was only one kill; injury, roleblocking, etc.

Can you explain this a little bit, because it looks like you are using the Yoshi lynch as an example of a scum lynching another scum...

As for my vote yesterday, I was mainly trying to not get WOGed. RL has been super busy for me and I have not been able to put the time I need into this game. I made a quick vote (that only tied things by the way - in no way saving The Bake) based on an argument that you yourself made.

As for who to lynch today: I think that it is quite interesting that a known (or at least publicly stated) killer has been left alive by the scum. If I were a baddie I would be making sure to eliminate all threats to me at this point in the game. Leaving Verarde alive would not be the best idea. His continued survival is increasingly looking like he is one of the scum we are all looking for.

No, I'm saying that IF Verarde is cleared by voting to lynch The Bake by the same logic I am cleared by lynching Yoshiegg. Now, I don't buy this logic so both Verarde and me are still suspects, yet I know that I am not Mafia and that's something I can't say about Verarde.
