EVENING THREE
It was the closest and most controversial call yet. Ultimately, with too many suspicious of his undue accusations the previous day, the citizens turned on Visorslash and demanded his arrest.
Visorslash didn't go silently, but protested this treatment and the citizen's decision along with a number of other things the cops weren't even asking about.
"Not safe. So what! I can't be held responsible for that seal of approval."
"Who says I had to pay taxes on those offshore accounts anyway."
It was quite the spectacle, and citizens supposed there would be time for some things to be sorted out.

Not really daunted by this result, the town knew there was another decision to make.
Today, perhaps they'd decided they'd gone far enough with law enforcement having power over them. The people of Springfield respected their neighbors and friends and their rights - even if not legal citizens. To a refrain of "No on Twenty-Four!" chants the votes were resoundingly against the proposal. Proposition 24 would not levy harsh penalties on illegal immigrants.
Pleased with this result, GamezRule was also happy to be chosen to receive the Buzz Cola.

While Visorslash was being hauled off, and he was the one who escaped the town's ire today, paulwhoisaghost didn't feel much relief. In fact, he had generally kept his distance from all the citizens, everyday, bundled up in a large coat and wearing a hat that hid most of his face - few people had been getting a good look at him.
In a small attempt to calm his nerves and recover from the demanding task of arguing his case, he opened his pack and took out a sandwich while small business was being wrapped up by the other citizens. If he noticed that the bread seemed coated with an unnecessary amount of excess flour he thought nothing of it.
This would change a few minutes later.
He began to feel horribly ill and realized what was coating his sandwich was a corrosive poison!
Some of those who already were keeping an eye on him saw that something was wrong. He jumped up and reached for a nearby bottle of water as his body was retching and convulsing.
But instead of water, it was acid!
What followed was an absurd reaction that should have been impossible. He ran around in panic with a high-pitched scream. Everyone's attention had been caught by now.
In the town of Springfield, some say his stomach grew three sizes that day!
Then as he collapsed to the ground, people huddled around and some tried to make their way through and provide medical help, though it was almost too late. They got a close look at the victim - he was a man in a suit of - no, wait, a cat??
But paulwhoisaghost was beyond caring about what the people of Springfield thought about it all as he lay there dying. His eyes darted frantically about, trying to make out something, someone. Then he relaxed with a peaceful expression as he didn't see what he had been looking for. He would have this small triumph.
