There decisions can also be overturned by a 4/6 Majority of the other Councilmen. Major decisions require a vote of the entire Council. Under them the Assembly of Commitees. They control subdivisions such as a Committee of Roads. A Minister can overturn almost any desicion with a few key exceptions. There is also a Commitee of Justice which is separate of any ministries that is in charge of the political trials and are in charge of many small courts.

In other news, the Empire of Light declares its intentions to spread the Light to the land called Brazil, and informs the Republican Council in central america that attempts to interfere with the spreading of the light would displease the Creator very much, not to mention disturb our most peaceful relations in all likelihood for we spread the Light of the Creator.

We find it amusing that Italy in its lectures to us now claims Hawaii. You do not even have a Pacific base, so supplying it will be difficult. The only reason you claim it hence is to the annoyance of Japan, which is not a practical consideration. You could have used that carrier to clam land that would allow to claim land by land like Athens, or Portugal for a Atlantic trade network. One is best set if they have a network connection to areas.

In other news we are please to welcome the new rising American power in Central America and offer a Non-Aggression Pact along with a Defence Pact. We will talk of Alliances later on.

so wait, then how do you know where tanks are, and for that matter other units, i just assumed they were in a nebulous pool like other IOTS? also you would have to keep track of them so you know exactly where the tanks are. If they can only attack/conquer once per tern, than there really inst a point to the blitzing rule for them.

Think units as being like RISK but returning to a pool every turn. You assign where you want them to strike... most units can only strike on provinces that border your current holdings. Tanks can strike two provinces away rather than one, making them useful for rapid expansion.

Oh so they attack 2 provinces away, instead of attacking 2 provinces on the same turn, thank you for the clarification, on that, have my tank strike Colorado instead of Kansas :D (if you are ok with that)

In a major strategic coup the Mongolans have seized much of China in a mixture of economic and military pressures. This is a sharp contrast to the military setbacks suffered by New England and the Empire of Light; military experts around the world attribute such defeats to such small forces that, even with successful disabling of enemy defense forces, occupation simply is not viable. Larger assault troops in addition to artillery divisions have gained currency as the best system, but the debate continues on whether infantry or armored divisions make for better forces to use.

The Confederate States of America have emerged as the world’s largest economy, narrowly ahead of the tied New English and Japanese rivals. Due to the lack of a local economic rival, some are considering Japan to be narrowly ahead in the race.

While tank divisions remain the norm for city-state defenses, the more pragmatic rulers have realized how valuable the ability to bribe them is, and so the average rate to bribe officials has shot up 20%, from 5 billion Eurodollars to 6 billion.

The Egyptian empire has collapsed, opening large swathes of land to opportunists around the world; the emergence of the New Americans has solved the Panama question, but the Suez question has replaced it.

The Partitionianian head of state has been classed as AWOL.
