Jon Rease continues to shake his head.

"North of Pine Lake ith a large thwampy woodland. It ith dotted with countless thrands of pine treeth, meadowth, and small lakeths."

He chuckled humorlessly.

"Obviouthly, lumber will not be an ithue."

He coughed suddenly, and coughed up blood.

"The deep woodth are home to the motht wandering tribeth. Do Not Trutht Them."

He continues coughing. Gasping as he warned.

"They are all touched by the land!"

He takes a deep breath, shuddering as he released.

"The land itthelf ith poor, but the meadowths grow, and land directly by the laketh and threamths are rich."

He took another, and then calmly said.

"However, you will find death in these same watehth sooneh or lateh."

OOC: Editing my reserved post. After you choose a region, I will draw a more detailed map for the actual settlement site itself.
 
OOC: Guys, please make a final decision this weekend so I can draw the region map and Arrow can start update 1. Or else. We are both dedicated in making this NES go, are you?
 
I would like to join as a miner. I suggest the north part of Mountain Wash, it's close to safety and to Unobtanium.

3-5 pixels/day for a small group on flat ground, 1-2 pixels/day for a large group or in mountains, 1 or less on Ridges or a large group on mountains.

Where you guys suggest to settle, we will be multiple days from the Unobtanium.
 
Guys, we need to follow our mission, to obtain unobtainium for the Kingdom. To not do it would be treason. And you all know what the king does to those who commit treason. Sure, the settlement would be safer, yet we still need to send back Unobtainium. How do we mine unobtainium when we need to march several days through hostile territory to get it? Icewater Lake, has water, unobtainium, good soil, and trees. What more can you ask for?

Woudl you rather build in the hostile territory, or have your miners get picked off one by one?
 
OOC: I remind y'all that the only stated goal so far is to get unobtainium. Your settlement might be safer by Pine Lake, the Mountain Wash, or the Greenbacks, but you still would need to send Miners and Warriors into Icelake/Firelake/Tridia region or the Frostmist/Despair/Lake Pit region to mine.

Also, it's OK to settle further from the unobtainium, just remember what he said.

Joining as Steven Sight, expert Architect (Aka Builder) and ore inspector. He is currently suggesting that the Mount Throne must have the Pandoraium ores! If you are wondering, he refers to the Unobtainium as Pandoraium is because when they manage to get any Unobtainium, it would not be unobtainable anymore, and it's name falls into Stupidnameium. Apart from that, he suggest the creepy Jon Rease to get some medical help, for your bleedin' sake mate.
