Strategic Resources placed, as are roads.
Note to everyone: roads do NOT add commerce to tiles. I find that roads all over the map just looks ugly, so this is a way to prevent that. They are ONLY good for increasing unit movement and connecting landlocked cities into a trade network.
Irrigation is for Grassland and Plains
Mines are for Hills and Mountains
Nothing else can have these improvements.
I will upload my resource map, but I doubt you guys will be able to see most/any of them since I have used so many custom ones. Dont expect to see much geographical accurracy in their placement, (for instance, there is tobacco in New York) as they are primarily intended to shape territory development, not teach you where tobacco has historically been grown.
Having issues again with the MUnits, but I am going to have to wait till march to really figure them out. I am now having a problem with transparency with certain animations using SBB. The animations come out fine, but I cannot set them with his program as it sometimes refuses to display certain units.
This is really only a problem with the fortify animation, because I want the formation to look like a circle... wait a minute, I have an IDEA!
Somebody made a really cool worker that fortified to a wooden palisade. I am going to borrow that animation (after asking permission of course) and use it for all the formations. This makes more sense than having them stand in a circle, and allows me to pretend that they are setting up camp ;p
Plus, its a heckuva lot easier!
EDIT: Turns out it was Kinboat... anyone suprised? ;p
