Governor of BW Instructions
While trusting the DP implicitly, here are my instructions to myself.

-Worked forested hill instead of plains hill.
-Always work cottages unless something else has supreme need
-work tiles with a total of 3 production for settler or more (add hammers and bread)
-Settler shouldn't be finished this turnset so no build orders
-No specialists during this turnset

Worker instructions will come later or from Min. of Interior

Secretary of War instructions
  • No new units necessary until Bronze working is discovered.
  • Continue to explore the darkness.
  • Attempt to explore along forests, hills and particularly forest hills.
  • If a promotion is available for a warrior woodsman I and II are preferred for better defense and scouting ability.

Finish Mining, start on Bronze Working.

From the Ministry of Explosions (AKA Science)

@ Whomp, I presume that by "warrior" in your last instruction, you are referring to either a warrior or scout.

Yes Mr. Rower that is correct.

Maintain 100% science rate, unless forced to lower it by negative GPT and an empty treasury. (shouldn't be possible)

In the extremely unlikely event that the settler is produced early (shouldn't be possible) it can be moved towards our southern cultural border, but stop at least one plot inside the visibility range unless the SoW has provided an escort unit. Again, this shouldn't be possible but don't want to force a play stoppage if it's not needed.

There is no legal definition of a limit on the number of turns to be played, but it is traditional to play 10 turns. That said, it is also traditional to extend play beyond 10 turns if such an extension doesn't exceed the depth of prepared instructions, and will determine information needed for forum discussion. For example, if we are 2 turns from completing Bronze Working at the end of 10 turns, the science discussion depends on knowledge of whether we have bronze. If there are enough instructions from all areas it is permissible to play the extra 2 turns to find out where the metals are.
This is general guidance, the DP is given authority to extend play for similar situations.

Since I'm not 100% sure where our warriors are currently placed (I still don't have a cartographer :( ) I would leave it to the turnplayers discretion which warrior is best suited to meet the settler. It is more important to get the 2nd city than continue to explore.

Enemy Demands: How to Handle Them

Gold:
Refuse Demand

Techs:
Refuse Demand

Religion switching:
Yes, if friend. refuse if foe

Civic switching:
Refuse Demand

Stop trading with Civ X:
Depends on who we are friends with, Civ X, or Civ Y demanding we stop the trading

Wars and Treaties: Don't declare war on anyone this TC. Don't sign any treaties because we don't have the knowldege of how to do so. ;)

Open Borders: By citizen decree, don't sign Open Borders with the Mongols. There is not enough support for signing Open Borders with any civ, actually, so don't sign with any foreign nation.

This post wil contain and autolog as well as some screenshots and other important stuff about the turns that are about to be played. Rik Meleet made me an op in the chatroom so I promptly used my newfound powers to kick him out of the room  . He came back though. I should have kicked and banned him ;)

I meant to hand the worker over to Tubby but sadly I am afraid that I am an idiot and thought MONDAY was the 4th. Who knows where that idea came from :p Anyway, it all worked out because tubby was DP anyway. Next instruction thread I will hand worker to you officially.
