I will have orders in today. Finally. Sorry for missing both deadlines.
At camp Chief Thunder Cloud stood up and shushed the braves surrounding him,
Braves, today is the day our ancestors shall smile down upon us. For too long I have been ill and unable to lead you fine braves, but not today, today the Cheyenne shall rise! We shall rise higher than the wise eagles, we shall roar louder than the most fiercest thunder storm, we shall roam softly like the quiet deer. Today will see the change of the Cheyenne from a weak tribe to the most poewrfull tribe in the area! Who is with me!!
The braves all stood and cheered, each one personally approached Loud Thunder for ranking and praise.
Swift Deer, you ae my best brave, sure and steady even in the face of impossible odds. I thank you for assuming my place as leader of the tribe while I was ill. Your sacrifices have been noted, I give you your rank, you are my second in command.
Roaring Water, you have shown yourself as a true hunter, you have brought us many meat and we live comfortably becuase of you. For your reward, a new hunting lodge shall be built.
Laughing Bear, you are by far our most stupidest person in the tribe, but that being a good thing. We have gotten a huge laugh over your encounter with a bear. For this you shall be ranked as my 3rd in command.
Following the meeting several children ran up to Laughing Bear and clamored for the story. Laughing Bear complied and sat down to tell the story of when he met the bear.
Young Braves and squaws I shall tell you a story of my encounter with a bear, one day I was hunting up in the land of cold winds and I got lost, my braves and I headed to a cave to hide from the cold wind, I went in first and confidently walked in. It was dark and spooky, but Cheyenne braves are never scared, so I continued on finding a nice spot to build a fire and cook our meat. So I knelt down and lighted the fire, suddenly a loud roar filled the cave and I saw the fire grab hold of the bear's fur and spread rapidly up the bear. But like a true Cheyenne Brave I did not run, I stood and watched the bear roar then the bear saw me and attempted to kill me, but in the confusion the bear tripped and landed on me. My braves finally rushed into the room to see me jerking under the bear and they all laughed. After that I was forever known as Laughing Bear.
The children laughed and ran off to play. Laughing Bear sighed, "At least they do not understand fully what jerking is." Despite telling his braves that he was not doing the bear they will never forget that day.
