The Introduction Speeches

In a small long house, Chief Deer-on-the-Lake was sitting with the Council of the Hurons. There was 15 Councilmen and three Band leaders sitting aside or across them. These men where voted by the people of Huronoku and Norte-Eyre to represent them. And today was the Time of the Vote.

The of the 15 councilmen, 12 of them where from Huronoku. While three of them where from Norte-Eyre. Those sitting next to him number 10 Councilmen, while six of them occupy the other side.

Of the three Band leaders, only Fleeting Beer sat at the council. One of them, Staring Buck, is a skillful diplomat and an logical reasoner, is caught between religion and morals at Chupan, where the Chuparuians traded but sent a message that they will patrol the trade and the outrage of an armed foreign in their capital who they shall not let go unless the Chief comes and apologies for the outrage. The other one, Sharp eyed-Eagle, is to young to be in the council.

Last time, (4-9 years ago), only 10 council men where elected by the neighborhoods, but the slow growth of the Huron population and a round up after a rough head count says 15 shall rule for the New Chief of the Huron Nation. Currently the head of the opposition is the Charging Boar, once chief of the Huzokus (Huronoku was once 3 small villages that joined together against the wold riders,). They want to join the Chuparu empire just because... "We are weak and they are strong!"

Soon, the session begun....
First there will be a debate, then the votes that may change the whole nation.

Charging Boar, as the opposition, spoke first: "We, Hurons, should join Chuparu, for they shall make use greater!. We should concentrate on domestic economy rather than merchants, and we should elect me as chief!"

Deer-of-the-Lake replied solemnly,"Yes, but the Chuparu has a liking for slaves... And trade is always a good thing. One more thing... They have woldf soldiers just like the barbaric Wolf Riders."

The collective gasps premeated the room. The Wolf Riders had driven the Hurons from across the river almost 5 generations ago, and barley 20 years ago, their last effort before Chuparu expanded into the area reunited the Hurons with fear. They are savage archers who ride on sleds behind teams of Wolf, even then dogs are the true friend of men. And now Chuparu has Wolf Soldiers... could they have been affected they the simple power of the sleds of the Wolf Riders?

One of the members pulled out a wood pipe and begun to blow. She was just venting steam and fear, but it was magical. The whole council stopped as they listened to Shy Robin as she uncovered and covered holes. Several minuets past before she noticed are are staring at her blankly.
[under construction, more to come]

"I am so sorry to interupt!" She cried ,"It is my habit when I am afriad..."

"That was wonderful!" said Deer-on-the-Lake ,"This... this Music is wonderful! I shall improve it and find you friends..." He paused "Only If I am reelected."

"The council shall continue after this rest!" Called Old Bear, the rules and law keeper. And the council dissipated to talk and to think.

You didn't keep the old map :(

Also, is it possible to post the new map at the bottom of the update post?

Honzas_cz, I wanted my colony on the same spot that I put it in the map I sent you.
It's called Tanpa because there was a historical tribe in that area. Would it be possible for you to move it north a bit?

DANCING INDIANS

It was in these years that the Acadians began to dance. The tribe had marked several momentous events recently, and the capital was always buzzing with activity. Meeting new tribes, settling a new colony, discovering Fire Peppers, and leading great hunts… all were exciting events for Acadia. The people did not always have words to describe new discoveries, so they often acted out special events instead of talking about them.

This became the tribe’s way of teaching children about past times. At celebrations, tribal leaders would also act out stories for large groups of people to honor these great achievements. One of the men, named Benny Lava, was particularly energetic with his reenactments. He found that jumping and shouting while acting out an event made him feel powerful. Other people got very excited when he did this, and they began to jump around and shout also. Benny Lava became known as the greatest of the Indian dancers.

Thus, the Acadian people followed Benny Lava in many incredible dances. They would dance for all special occasions. In this way they honored the tribe’s past, hoped for good fortune in the future, and passed down the tribal culture to their children.

To Chuparu
From Hurons
Our escourt will leave when Calling Jay (she's a her honzas!) leaves for Singod.

To Singodia
From Hurons
Shall we trade and grow?

To Mitsukataniana
From Hurons
CC: Happalache

We are currently busy with Calling Jay, she has a big journey to find a good place for a colony. We would be pleased if you send merchants this time and I shall reimburse you (1EP) when we regain contact with her. (if my orders are ok and work.)

@ Honzas, Calling Jay is a girl. And is it O.K. for her to go to Norte-Eyre, trade with Singod, find a colony, find lots of hides, return to Reneth from the new colony to trade and discover the Arcadians (Big Rock)? Because 1, my wood pipes can be traded to Arcadionas and their song, and 2, it will take me a long time to type all the orders for it to be rejected!

To Happalachians and Hurons
From Singodians

We wish to open trade with your fine nations. Are you interested in making it official?

From Happalache to Singodia -> We agree... thanks, wise Singodian!

To sp1023 -> You couldn't have units like this. You couldn't call power of thunders, because that doesn't seem to exist... Also one more thing! You shouldn't only think about unit "+ses", but also think about "-ses". For example, unit of City raiders will be very good at besieging cities, but they will be unusable in defence of cities. Something like this...

To justokre -> Yes I could put it there, but you must reach higher level of "settlement number cap" which will allow you to have more than 3 settlements. (for example Pottery).

To Sloaf -> Thank you. Story added on storyboard...

To Charles Li -> Thanks for story. I expect second part! Added.

Anymore questions?

I know its a bit of a fudging of the rules, but can I move the 6ep invested in warriors into a different tech? I wasn't in control of them when you chose to invest there..

Also, can we trade techs?

An if so, will it be 100% efficient (complete tech traded) or will perhaps you only be able to trade "blueprints" (half the tech cost done)

[lurker's comment] I might rejoin this... Depends. :) not on this NES' quality, but on how much time I have...

But I am actually write this to complimentate Charles Li. His writing has drastically improved lately. Are you sure you didn't give away your account?

BUMP since you are posting else where and seemed to miss this :p

@lord_joakim
Hi! Glad to see you there!
Actually, I think you might join as different nation than Mio Mio, because they are now on the last step to another Civil War... maybe... :D

@Abaddon
You could change your Warrior Code (6 invested so far) to another one (just because you were away from there... to >AnYtEcH< (4 invested)... you think this is ok?

@Charles Li

I think so! I looked on posts which were posted long ago by you and now it's much better, I could also understand (sometimes!)!
Also as I look on your last post...
You are really good in story writing. I think a new rule will be implemented... It should be based on that you gain some bonuses... I will just check this more than til now. I want to see those stories in :)! Good job so far Charles!

And also one VERY important thing:

I want to thank you,
Abaddon
For your advertising of my NES.
Also thanks for your support... and simply for everything!
(since you get me to NESing! Thanks!!!!)

"Yes," said man standing in the corner of the room.
He had long black hair and coloured face and he was hiding behind another man.
"Yes," he answered again. "but, this would be very hard --"
Man in front of this one, got away.
Other one was standing there for a while and then got away too.

Next day just started and Chief of Mio Mitti was preparing for his
journey to Mio Mio to discuss the terms of independency.
"My Lord," cried man before him, kneeling to the ground.
"caravan is ready to go as well as armored escort."
"Thanks Awanathah." said chief and get out from his hut.
Armed caravan was standing there. Also horse was there.
That horse was for the chief, others will go on foot.

OOC: The Arival of horses! The Arival of the Spanish! *slap*. The Hurons, Hapalache, Mitsuatania and Chuparu shall sign the HomeLands Pact when the rouges come!!!

Nope!
Just they tamed ONE horse for chief...
You still have time to encounter Europeans.
You will know when they arrive... because some nations may disappear from the map :D
