NIGHT TWO
Winston Hughes simply did not have a lucky night. Despite the tropical locale and success of the day, he didn't sleep easy, perhaps fearing what was to come.
All too soon, when the others had dispersed too far away during the night, Winston was attacked. Quickly overpowered, his attacker broke bones and smashed limbs, a fierce display of vengeance and frustration, until Winston was a mess.
Winston Hughes was dead.
Another person set out with an agenda of his own tonight, finding LightFang to be his target. Surprised, LightFang attempted to plead his own case, but this attacker was meticulous, having prepared his old-fashioned musket, and hardly gave LightFang a chance to speak. If LightFang meant no harm, the stranger responded to him that he couldn't take the risk, and was only doing his best to serve.
There was the expected bang and the shot was off.
LightFang was dead.
Finally, the night's latest action was also its most brutal.
askthepizzaguy had been given a great position of trust and leadership, to which he knew he was suited and promised to uphold his duties. He was woken from a serene night's rest by a disturbance, and knew it was no Innocent. The young enemy before him would have none of this benevolence of his.
"I have killed dozens and am the champion of the fatherland."
askthepizzaguy only knew that he would not go down like a coward, and indeed was prepared for the sacrifice:
"Even with my life, you will never have the satisfaction of defeating our principles, government of the people, by the people, and for the people."
"I am your death, schwein! I will not back down until you are defeated."
And askthepizzaguy's last response: "I was kicking ass fourscore and seven years before you were out of diapers. Bring it on."
TheLastOne36 charged at askthepizzaguy, drawing a saber, but his blow was deflected by askthepizzaguy's great strength, wielding the
shield of Captain America. He exuded goodness, courage, and an indomitable spirit, but his attacker was also powerful. Long they fought, and askthepizzaguy's righteous blows broke TheLastOne36's nose, caused him great injury, to the limit of his endurance.
But finally, one strike broke through, hacking into the great man's side and doubling him over.
askthepizzaguy was dead.
But
TheLastOne36 couldn't make it far with these injuries; he had given it all to this victory, his greatest triumph of all. He soon collapsed before making it back anywhere particular, and was discovered only in the early morning by the assembled public, along with the other deaths.
The town, witnessing all the bloodshed, also couldn't help but gather up numerous objects that had been left behind. First, the artist Winston had in some way managed to hide a
crate marked with "please don't open. Keep the paint drying."
But far more chaotic and interesting were the items that saw action in Lincoln's last stand. The
shield and
fedora recently left to him were there, and it was thought his own
tophat might come in use; on top of that, his German assailant had brought with him a
mysterious amulet!
The town pondered their next moves...

MORNING THREE
Yet as soon as dawn was approaching again the town felt that all-too-uncomfortable sensation, and the beaches of Hawaii were gone. Instead, they found themselves back on solid land as far as the eye could see. Some perhaps recognized or guessed they were in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, visible a little ways in the distance.
But more immediately, the town and everything somehow brought with them, seemed to be in a once more abandoned
Industrial Complex.
Lastly was found another short message, which appeared written on a bulletin board:
Washington Irving writes:
"Give me an army of West Point graduates and I'll win a battle. Give me a handful of Texas Aggies, and I'll win the war.”
It is now Day Three.
