Glowing Fishies!

Sounds interesting. I wonder if they will begin to rethink this if something goes wrong.

I had fish that kind of reflected light so it looked like a little glow streak. They were icknamed "Neons" but I forgot the full name for them. Had several of them. They even had eggs in a bubble nest, but the fire eel decided to eat it.

I had a friend with those once. I used to watch them because they were shiny . It would be fun with this new fish to just turn off all the lights and watch them go back and forth .

Oh my God....Perfection has actually got a point here!

Are you shocked that it really is one more step towards the development of giant radioactive monkeys, or because I made a point?

The point, of course!

I'll rather have a babelfish :)

Damn! It's Yahoo again! It loaded for 10 minutes already and it's still loading!

I heard of a rich french guy who paid for the development of a glowing rabbit, also from jellyfish. I'd rather have a glowing hamster though (, babelfish is fine too :) ).

The full name is "neon tetras." I used to have a bunch of them until the cat decided to go fishing in the aquarium.

Yay! Radioactive Monkeys! :D

The glowing fish sound cool! I don't know if it's right to engineer the fish to glow but..... it's so cool! Too bad I don't buy fish and forget to take care of them when I do. At least the dogs remind you when they're hungry. :p

Glowing Fish didn't need to be genetically engineered. You can find them around Nuclear plants, or better yet 3 mile Island and/or Chernobyl!

I have been looking for glowing fish near hanford every summer, or any glowing animal will do! ;)

Scientists created nude mice that are green when put under UV-light. I'm still waiting for them to be released as pets. ;)

Upon edit:
Maybe you'd like to see a pic of the little darlings! ;)

I wanted to say tetras, but I wasn't willing to committ to the word. Thanks!

And my cat wanted to get a taste of fire eel and sting ray for himself. And the chinchilla.....
