We have a casual Friday coming up. This means that we can 'dress down' and take off our ties and dress shoes. There's a slang term for this type of dress. It's called "Dressing casj"

That's right, that 'casj' is supposed to be the shortened form of 'casual'.

But I have no idea on how to spell that word. I realised this while typing out an email to co-workers.
casg?
caj?
cas?
cash?
cashj?

Sigh. Any help here? On topic would be another word that we use quite bit that doesn't have a proper spelling.

It's not really a word, so there's no proper spelling for it. I'd write 'cas'; English pronunciation is flexible enough.

i still dont get sue/sew/suew or whatever lawyers do

"Sue," just like the name. "Sew" is pronounced as "so," and involves needle and thread.

I always screw up those words with like freakin' 5 vowels between two consonents like Baeauetiful
I hate those words too... especially names with tons of vowels like that, like Boeoatical :crazyeye:
By the way, it's beautiful.

Actually, Congradulations and Congratulations are both correct spellings.

In formal writing, though, 5 should be spelled "five."

Place name: Szczecin.

Absolutely impossible.

Close to impossible: syzygy. An astronomical occurence without any of the usual 5 vowels.

neither leisure foreigner seized the weird height are the exceptions to the i before e rule.

A girl wrote on her presentation:

"We dont have lawyers, cause no one should be sewed."

Nope, Congratulations is the only corerct spelling.

I seem to be the only person at my school (inc. science teachers) who can spell deoxyribonucleic acid properly.

Me?

Usually.

One S and two L's, not the other way round.

Americans can't seem to spell a lot of words right. Ignoring the blatantly obvious "colour", "favour:, "criticise", etc., they can't even spell "mispell". :D

Personanlly, a lot of the ei - ie words get me. Tuesday I also get wrong a lot for some reason.
