A Christmas gift to the CFC community. :)

*Note that this graphic works best with Ares' terrain pack, especially on the Tundra terrain.

This is really neat... I might just try this for next year. Can I just set it up for every ai group by naming?

Very nice ,Ogedai ! :goodjob: I really like it.

Just checked the palette. Entry #227 looks much to near like magenta ,I fear. Have you already seen it ingame ?

I've tested it in the editor, and fixed the colors a bit before releasing it. But if there's some irregular coloring, show me a screenshot and I'll fix it right away. :)

No need for a screenshot. The walled version has several #227-magenta around the graphic.
Make the two transparent colors black and you`ll see.

The other file is OK.

I've taken a look at it again in Photoshop and didn't find any speckles of #227. See if it appears in-game.

Ah, I see it now. I forgot to upload the fixed file. It is up now. :) Thanks for pointing out the error.

It would be nice if there were some way of setting these to be the cities that appear in the Tundra and only in the Tundra.

Maybe you could use them as resource graphics and create a resource that appears only on tundra. :)

I was thinking of something along that line, with the resource triggered by reaching a specific technology, possibly either Steam Power or Electricity. Then giving the resource the resource values of s fairly productive town.

I could do the same with the igloos from Pounder's resource library, and have those set for Navigation.

I already use the Oasis as hot springs in the tundra. Any chance of getting something like a Hot Spring graphic, perhaps some sort of a small geyser?

Obviously this presents us with a need to have a snowfall animation for the 'We love the King' celebration :mischief:

Absolutely!!!
that would be neat.

I believe I have the snowy terrain mod in my C3C. I was thinking that it would be a neat game to play through the winter months - yeah like I need to see more snow

But it must be doable.

I am trying to organize this thing into a playable mod for myself.

The winter terrain is in the PTW folder - does this mean I would have to play a PTW game to make this work? if I organize the cities and the winter thingy, can I get them to a C3C folder to play?

Winter-themed terrain graphics? I might try doing that before finishing up my Korean city set (which I should have finished weeks ago  ). Maybe Igloo forts, Santa's Elves' workshops as mine graphics, etc. It's past Christmas, but there are "Twelve Days of Christmas" after all, right? :p

I would really appreciate this. I had a terrain request posted for this but it seems to have disappeared.

Maybe you can't include a bix file in a request.

And some of us are in for 3 months more of snow and cold.

Hmmm, the idea of Santa's Elves Workshops for mine graphics for Tundra terrain is something that definitely would appeal to me.

…or for the Factory/Ironworks improvements…
