General Information:
I created 2 versions of new mines. They replace the holes in the ground that Firaxis gave us. :D

Instalation instructions:
They will overwrite any other building that is in the file TerrainBuildings.pcx, so if you have custom Fortresses or other buildings that have graphics stored in this file, make sure you copy&paste the mine part from this file before you overwrite the file. Also don't forget to backup the file TerrainBuildings.pcx before installing those mines. The file goes in \Civilization III\Conquests\Art\Terrain. It is only compatible with Civilization III Conquests.

Heavy and light versions:
The difference between the two is not very big. The big yellow building from the left is removed in the second version. The first one looks much more developed, but is a little too crowded and it takes exactly the form of a tile, so it looks a little too square and you can have difficulties in seeing if the tile is roaded/railroaded or not.
The second version looks more light and doesn't distract the player's attentino so much, but it is simpler and less developed than the first one.
The first one is called "heavy" and the second one is called "light".

Thank you all! :thanx:

I observed that people who know me for some time (like Stormrage and Heretic_Cata) are very surprised of what I made!

Now I have to decide which of them to send in the PCX maker of the month competition for July.

Where's Cheatem when needed?

Long time no see, Mr. Underpaid! As I said, Cheatem (Ozymandias) is the man!
I used to have a lot of this kind of stuff but my computer was fried in 2008. If anyone can fork out a few hundred dollars towards the restoration of my hard drive, they're obliged welcome to contribute.

why not ask Mirc.. he's still around isn't he?

Hello Underpaid! :)

Just copying and pasting the answer I gave to Abaddon (hey, years later and I'm still doing the same thing! :p):

Yeah, I do still have them, but they are on my Romanian computer, some ~1900 km away from me right now... I'll see if I can get them anytime soon, but I'm not sure, because the way I organized the folders on my Romanian hard disk is insane and I don't think anybody I could talk to is going to be able to find them. So in short, I have them, but they are far away!
