Imperium Offtopicum: The Aftermath

Brown - our former lands. Lay off.
Blue - places we will take so we can have an economy again.
Dark Green - provinces we would like to take, with the consent of the UN, Marians, and Democratic Arabs
Yellow - areas we were wondering about - they are unclaimed, but have several obvious claimants. Possibly Macedonians could help solve the issues in Europe and on the Red Sea before they arise.

note: I have only marked unclaimed, irradiated, and UN provinces. I don't care if I used your nation's color if you aren't on the Mediterranean.

Yellow areas: Sudan interested is those lands to the East of us.

Caribbean Commonwealth: This exchange should be manageable. We do not feel official protectorate status is necessary as we do not feel threatened by our immediate neighbours, but we will allow NCSA warships to dock at our ports, where proper facilities exist.

Telangena: We do not feel comfortable trading with Sri Lanka given its hostile attitude toward North Ceylon.

Marathi Republic: We accept this offer of trade.

Unaligned States: We currently lack the infrastructure to accommodate long-distance shipping, and must decline.

Obviously, we cannot consent to Italy(sans the parts that are historically Macedonian) being anything but Marian should it ever become fit for settlement again.

The former France, we feel, should be its own nation, but we'll cross that bridge when it isn't a den of Abhorrents and Anarchy.

Kosovo

We are glad to hear that Kosovo has emerged from the chaos with a stable, functional government. The more states present to combat the Abhorrent threat, the better.

Alliance of North African Independents: If Portugal thinks it can spare the resources, we would be happy to accept. We do not feel threatened by NATAR, but the gesture is appreciated.

To the Alliance of North African Independants: It is actually probably healthier for our military, and allows for safer shipments between our two nations. That is, if you accept a trading agreement with Portugal.

Alliance of North African Independents: We are open to trade, even if the situation in Portugal will render it rather one-sided.

To the Alliance of North African Independants: Would you join our sphere of influence? Think of it as a mutual co-operation agreement.

Alliance of North African Independents: We are not sure the Portuguese can feasibly claim a sphere of influence encompassing all our territory. Nevertheless, we agree to trade relations and the stationing of Portuguese forces on our lands.

(Consider this the Alliance's consolidated response; I'm working on the update, so this will be my last post on the matter this round. Do let me know how much or how little Portugal is willing to accept of the current offer; discussions can continue afterward.)

To the Alliance of North African Independants: Portugal can indeed support you, for it bears a proud national pride. That extends to our allies, and should the need arise your territory will be seen as our territory in the event of an invasion.

Kashmir decries all this talk of war and must insist that all nations attempt to solve their disputes peacefully.

I would like to, but Patagonia seems intent on destroying my allies. Do you support minor nations' rights to self-determination? Because anyone who does should join me in protecting La Republica de Punta Arenas from their imperialist neighbors.
