(Civil Wonders) Prague Castle, Burj al Arab etc.

whoa thanks !!!!! :DD:D:D

Fatastic!!

Tell me, is there any easy way to make them brighter? Especially Vivec's palace, its very dark.
And, for what it worth, I tryed to figure out if their size is that bad - I put 8 of them in a couple of cities and the game slowed down, but not considerably. They are supposed to be big wonders, so it mightbe fine.

My English is not too good but I try take answer.
Whan you download NifSkope program from NifTools sites, you gain possibility edit material properties. Here you can make material less dark etc etc

Model size in game you can set in CIV4ArtDefines_Building.xml ; <fScale>x.xx</fScale> in game and <fInterfaceScale>x.xx</fInterfaceScale> in civilopedia.

Generally may be game slowely for file size. Most original files in Civ4 has abou 20-40 kilobites. It is possible solve by rebuild model = simplify (less polygons) and edit textures to less textures and redirect file components to the less textures.
In practice: you have 4 textures - you can edit this textures as four parts in one texture and edit UV layer to right reading from one texture. It may be hard work but it is possible. Most from you can solve by NifSkope and Photoshop with DDSplugin.

Sorry for my bad English. This all you can see as complicated but in
Civ4 - Modding Tutorials & Reference
is many very good tutorials :)

Yeah I realize it's complicated, but it's ok as it is - I did put a lot of these wonders on a map in world editor and it seemed to be not too slow :)
and english is not my native language either :) :)
sorry for bothering you with all those questions; I couldn't find much info anywhere

I can make more, if you need. On picture you can see that building detail go a bit missing in game view look. It have not full effect make conversion for all buildings. I can try make some building new - simplize...
For example on your picture we can see tower. It can be constructed with less polygons I think (a little file - one texture.)
((for example Hian the Frog from TR want max number polygons on model...))
I´m today sick still. Can make it if you want. :)

hrochland, I loved to travel to your country, it has "terrific" monuments and castles, no wonder why you do wonders for civ :)

I have one request, another Portuguese one, located at Sagres Point, supposedly belonging to the Prince Henry´s School:

Rosa dos Ventos de Sagres (Sagres Compass Rose)

"After passing through the thick tunnel entrance, one sees a giant pebble circle , detected only in 1921, of unknown age and purpose. The circle with a diameter of 43m is interpreted as a compass rose (Rosa dos Ventos). Normally compass roses are divided into 32 segments, but strangely this one has 40 segments, so it could also have been a sundial. It is likely to date back to the time of Henry the Navigator."

You did well making it as new since 1755 great earthquake destroyed most of it.

Hroch, I've accidently noticed that you've placed your superb buildings downloads under 'Other Graphics' in the filedb (here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=43&sort=date). I mean, it's of course your decission, but I think you'd better put them to the buildings or wonders as there, people would find them more easily when browsing the filedb.

Anyways, great work! And merry christmas!

HI, cool3a2. Thanks. You have right. I have in buildings and wonders placed models what I consider as extraordinary. Others I have placed in Other Graphics.
In "city improvements" by my mean can´t place my more than 100 monasteries

Unfortunatelly no all from my models I can term as wonder. It´s why I put models to Other Graphics. By the way, I make it last 5 years.

But, I will do my best put more models to buildins and wonders :)

P.S. Who look for my models last 5 year, can do visit my four head threads. Improvement etc - http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=183282
