Welcome, all! If you wish to be a reserve, here is the sign-ups thread. As of game start, we unfortunately have no reserves. TVTropes would be sad.
In this post will be the Rules, refer to Posts #2 and #3 for the lists of updates and players.

Phases
The game is divided into Day and Night phases.
Day lasts for 48 hours. Night lasts for 24 hours. Both are approximate times, we'll try to do it as close as possible.
During the Day, players vote to lynch one among your number. Ties result in the 'winner' being determined by
Vote in the required format, vote: Takhisis. Unvoting, though not strictly necessary, will be of great help to the poor sod trying to make a sense of what you post. Do so by
You may not edit your post if it contains a vote. Editing posts to correct grammar, spelling, or to avoid double-posting is fine. Do not touch your votes except in a new post. Any edited post containing a vote in it is declared invalid and will be counted as an Abstain.
You're allowed to Abstain from voting on any candidate, but you are not allowed to vote for No Lynch.
True reveals will happen after death.
During both Night and Day, players send me their night orders, if they have any. This includes Bounties.
Factions
The Mafia factions intend on the elimination of all the Town people (sometimes inaccurately referred to as the "Innocents"), and each other, while the Town seeks its own survival.
Neutrals have Victory conditions of their own. The Wealth Victory condition means that that person has to be the richest person alive at the end of the game. There are various means to acquire money.
Combat
All characters who can attack someone may use either a weapon or the Force. Your target will defend with either a weapon of the Force, whichever is more advantageous.
- If you have equal power/weapon when attacking or attacked, you are injured. If you are injured again without having healed, you are killed.
- If you have greater power when attacking, your target is killed.
- If you have lesser power, they are unhurt and you are injured.

Weapons ratings:Lightsabre>Blaster weapons>Melee>unarmed
Credits and Income
Credits are the currency of the game. The number to the left in your Role PM is your starting amount of credits, and the number between parentheses is your income: how much will be added to your bank account at the end of each Night Phase.
Auctions
Auctions will be carried out in the Day Phase by an item being posted by the GMs with a base price, highest bid wins. Republic credits are the only currency acceptable.
Transfers
Money and items can be transferred freely, whether by Night or by Day. The orders may be sent at any moment during the phase, but the transfer will happen at the end of said phase. You cannot use a transferred item(s) in that Phase, it will not be counted as in your possession for whtever effects it may have.
Bounties
Any player may put a price on someone's head. This may be done by sending the GM an order with the name of the player and the price. At the end of that phase, the money will be deducted from the player's account and held in store, and the price will become known to interested parties.
Private Communication
You may use Private Messages, Visitor Messages or Instant messaging to coomunicate with each other.
You may not send another player a copy (complete or parcial) of any communication between you and the GMs. You may paraphrase if that suits you. ¹
If the GMs have given you a QuickTopic, you are not allowed to give its URL away. We will know and we will sanction you.
Death
You are not allowed to post or participate in any other way after death, dead players may not continue to post game-related information in private either, and living players are forbidden from engaging in game-related communication with dead players. Due to the reserve shortage (we somehow got just the 40 players for the 40 planned roles) we might ask the dead players to step in as replacements. WoGed people will not be asked to step in as replacements.
Players are either alive or dead, there is no middle ground.
Replacements and WoG
Players will be killed off arbitrarily by the GMs (a.k.a. WoG) or replaced if considered necessary, either because of inactivity or rule breaking. Misbehaviour (see below) also may be a reason for either.
Edit, 19-08-2012: Since we have no replacements left, and people still insist on being inactive, from Day Nine onwards we'll consider non-voters to be injured.
Behaviour
Don't be an asstard. Respect the rules.
Keep your off-game stuff off-game. No political arguments, please.
Do not insult other players. Don't be a bad loser or a bad winner. Accept that your teammates may make mistakes, that sometimes the Random Number Gods may turn against you, that the GMs may make mistakes², and, also, that you may just have been hoodwinked by another player in a colossal way³.
Rule Amendments
Not even the GMs are perfect, and this is a rather complex game, so if we (the GMs) feel there's a need to change a rule, or if we realise we've set an ability or effect contrary to what was issued at the gamestart PMs, accept it. We'll always strive for balance and won't do things after determining with due consideration that it is strictly necessary to do so.
Of course, scheiße happens, as a great GM would say.
Which brings us to our last point for now…
Update postponements
If the GMs have good reason to postpone an announcement we will try to announce it beforehand, sometimes you might only find out when there's no update at the scheduled time.
GM Recommendation: You should check out the Star Wars Wiki, although some things have been edited for the game to be playable, so don't take everything there literally.
I've tried to add links to all the players' characters in their Role PMs, but I know I've missed some. Look up your character in the Wiki or other sources!
This game is not supposed to stick literally to canon.
