NOTW XLVI: Dakalam

Only scum should be afraid to lynch day 1.

That being said, since a player will only take a quarter of the damage, it probably won't make too big of a difference mechanics-wise.

support: classical_hero . Day one is day one

Nothing will be accomplished today, absolutely nothing. Maybe someone will get wounded, but nothing too serious. Pah. Waste of my time. I need to figure out how I can escape from this hellholle.

It's Day 1. I could hire one of those planes that drag ads to drag a banner ad displaying "KILL SK HE'S SCUM" in very large bubble letters and it still wouldn't be enough for a good case. And no, a bad lynch is not better than no lynch.

One hour left.

I'm not sure why Kennigit would think I'm a threat. With so many people nominated already, it didn't seem necessary to say anything in the morning.

On my grave, understand sympathy dear daveshack!

However, I am not nominated.

Update coming, and thanks for noting that, Kennigit.

End of Afternoon One, Day One

After a long day of pointing fingers and name-calling (and more than a few people apparently dozing off in the corner...), the arena contestants selected Grigori Rasputin (classical_hero) to be killed that day.

High Priest Kurizhen's voice boomed over the arena. "Today, be merciful. Just hurt Mr. Rasputin, give him a few bruises, but don't kill him."

The contestants shrugged. Whatever.

Rasputin was put up on a pedestal in the direct center of the arena. Emmanuel Yuro (Dreadnought) stepped up and delivered a solid right hook to Grigori's cheek, who winced in pain. Euron (Jarrema) then stepped up and gave Rasputin a decent left jab, making him wince once again. While Grigori Rasputin was still trying to blink away the pain, Valdur (Visorslash) stepped up to the plate. However, his punch was stopped midair by Karan Var's (spaceman98) fist. Valdur glared at Var, but stepped down.

Rasputin was then allowed to step off the pedestal, rubbing his cheek and grimacing.

Everyone else went to their tents to try and get a good night's sleep.

(Yeah, right.)

End of Night One

When the contestants arrived at the center of the arena next morning, they discovered that three of their fellow contestants were missing.

The mystery of Malakad's (DaveShack) disappearance wasn't very mysterious. His head was lying in plain sight in the exact center of the arena.

Spoiler :
Malakad was DaveShack!

Spoiler :
He was Evil-aligned!

Spoiler :
He was a Warlock!

Spoiler :
He was Innocent!

The other two missing bodies, Eothain (topsecret) and Grigori Rasputin (classical_hero), were quickly discovered. Eothain's body looked to be in perfect condition, if one ignored the stab wound in his back.

Spoiler :
Eothain was topsecret!

Spoiler :
He was Good-aligned!

Spoiler :
He was a Warrior!

Spoiler :
He was Innocent!

Grigori Rasputin's body appeared extremely sickly and diseased. A pansy might have fainted at the grotesqueness of it, but no one here was a pansy. Well, no one except the twenty-two people who had just fainted.

Spoiler :
Grigori Rasputin was classical_hero!

Spoiler :
He was Neutral-aligned!

Spoiler :
He was a Scoundrel!

Spoiler :
He was Innocent!

Disturbed, the contestants vowed to discover Kurizhen's minions with a new-found urgency.

Morning Two ends in approximately 24 hours at 3:00 PM CDT, 8/15/2012.
