Yes, townies are supposed to be adamant when they are being lynched, But it is also something that doesn't happen much. It is in fact quite rare. You could also try to do some scumhunting other than this "See, I'm innocent, thus Takhisis is Mafia" bullcrap.

If illegitimate reasons are going to be given for my lynch anyways, it seems reason would also fall through in my defense.

Dreadnoughts self vote, whilst I do understand why, and have used it in the past, just seals it for me. It's a gambit only mafia should ever use, as a townie knows they are 100% innocent. It's very often a mafia ploy. (See PRNZ mafia for an example).

I think I'll pass on that one. Still, out of the two I fingered (when not being silenced or unable to post for other reasons) one of them flipped not to be town, whatever these Communists and Zack's weird, twisted sense of humour are. And Visorslash, my target, still remains alive. Why did people just pile onto Dreanought like that?

You ask them. I'm sure there were scum on the Dreadnought lynch, but if Visorslash flips town and you point to someone else who also flips town... you're probably done.

Why would I point to someone else? I pointed at those three oer a week ago, first Visorslash, then Domination and Dreadnought. Been right (of sorts) 1/2+1 so fart.

Dreadnought, 'Lynch Lurkers & Liabilities', when you selfvoted, you automatically promoted yourself to top lynch position. By selfvoting, you promote the aura (whether feigned or real) that you don't care if you die. Now, you can take that as a ploy by mafia to seem like they couldn't possibly be mafia, or they could be setting up a bus on themselves, or what have you. However, as a townie, it is 99% useless. (I say 99% useless as I have used it to good effect once, but I also had a lynch stop power), it will most likely not help you catch mafia, and people will vote for you, normally sealing the deal for your lynch in most situations, and they will get away with the bandwagon vote, because it is a safe, but reasonable vote in most instances.

So saying that you were lynched for illogical reasons, is certainly not true. Leaving someone alive who selfvoted is always a risk, and generally one it is not wise to take.

Now Takhisis. I'm going to ignore the bandwagoner comment, as it has the persuasiveness of a gold ball. 'Self description': I was accused of lurking, when I was saying that was not the case. And self vote is above, but it is generally not a good town move.
