JFD and Janboruta's Civilisations

That seems to have done the trick, now I just need to delete my cache file after I finish a little tinkering (Mods have taught me at least basic XML coding).

Unfortunetly clearing my cache did NOT fix the problem of the ghost worker, and I discovered that having Belgium enabled is still causing a mysterious error. I can give you a list of the mods I'm using, the only concern I have is that a couple of my mods only exist on my computer and many others have been altered to include elements from other mods (for example, BlouBlou's Religion: Improved Customization has been combined with SushiSquid's Byzantine Peristyle and More Civ's Burma has the Uniques of DJSHenninger's Burma).

Edit: A little experimentation tells me that both errors are being caused by a mod conflict (or mod conflicts since each error is being caused by a different mod), though which one I'm not sure. I'm wondering if this is another case of needing to load before or after another mod that adds resources.

Absolutely not! I must reserve the right to do a Thatcher mod, even if unlikely. Ms. Thatcher is a stellar lady and deserves to be done with that in mind. :p

No production from Mines? Gain +X Yield upon adopting Autocracy? Player must do things to themselves that make the baby Jesus cry when shown diagrams involving free-market capitalist ideology?

Thatcher should have died long ago. She butchered my people and near-enough razed half of my home city, all in the name of supposed free-market ideals that served her, her cronies, and precisely sod-all other people. Her abiding principle when attempting to reform the industrial North (a stronghold of the then-Opposition) was "the homeless can't vote". Therefore, she endeavoured to make as many people there - people whose only crime was voting the wrong way - homeless, jobless, and destitute.

I know your tongue was jammed firmly in your cheek, but I have Views on the Witch, and they tend to bubble to the surface without much provocation.

I've found the cause of my ghost worker. For some reason, Belgium is being interfered with by whoward's DLL: Various Mod Components v 51!

Edit: My second problem with Belgium was caused by loading after Barathor's More Luxuries. Belgium needs to load before it.

While we're all still criticizing/making jokes about Thatcher, I'd love to make a Dead Kennedys reference, probably a joke about units earning Gold from kills ("Just think for a minute: we can make this war so big -- so big, the more people we kill in this war, the more the economy will prosper!), but I just don't have it in me to put it into words.

Either way, I would absolutely love to see a Cold War-era Britain and I can't think of a more fitting leader from the period than the iron lady herself.

If I have the self-restraint to do a Lenin based civ, surely you have the self-restraint to not bother with such an unhelpful post.

Okay. Whoward will look into the issue, so thank you for bringing it up to him. In the meantime, saving and reloading your game will cleanse the ghost workers; although I'd opt to wait until a resolution is found. Unfortunately, this means Hannibal's Carthage is slightly incompatible with Whoward's DLL as well (as well as Lenin, but Lenin's workers don't actually work right now  Also: ). If Whoward cannot find the issue (sacrifice a goat so that this does not come to pass), then I will make a compatibility patch between Whoward's DLL and any of my civs that would benefit from it (this includes Armenia, Napoleon, Lincoln and Hannibal, so there's good enough cause to regardless).

Also, could you remind me what your second problem was. I can include a reference to Barathor's More Luxuries to force Belgium to be loaded before it, no matter when it's selected in the mod list.

My second issue was an error where I would either not be able to build a warrior, not be able to build a scout or have barbarian camps spawn empty (I know, these errors are strange and make no sense). When I made More Luxuries load after Belgium, the problem seemingly went away (tomorrow I'll confirm this but I need to go to sleep now).

Yeah, those problems seem wildly inconsistent with the incompatibility. I'll throw in a reference to More Luxuries just to be safe, at any rate.

EDIT: Okay, well, I already had a reference to More Luxuries, which meant it would always be loaded before Belgium. So maybe that's the issue... I've removed it anyway, as I don't believe it serves any purpose.

EDIT 2: Brilliant! A fix is in sight for the Belgium and Carthage ghosting issue. I've also updated Belgium to remove the reference to Barathor's More Luxuries and fixed a small oversight in the code.

I normally don't do hotfixes, but as V52 of the DLL is being delayed due to technical issues with Git (the singularly most apt name for a piece of software I've ever come across!), see attached.

Unzip it and copy the .dll file over the top of the V51 dll file. (There is a single line code change between the two .dll files, so don't be surprised if I don't believe anyone who says it breaks somethings else!)

Edit: Attachment removed as V52 (includes the fix) is now available from my web-site

Hi JFD, I noticed this in Hitler's Germany UA lua

Code:
if player:GetCivilizationType() == GameInfoTypes["CIVILIZATION_JFD_USSR_LENIN"] and unitID == GameInfoTypes["UNIT_JFD_LENIN_WORKER"] then

And so on instead of Nazi Code... LENIN_WORKER, USSR_LENIN, code related to Lenin UA etc... I am not sure if this is how it was supposed to work :crazyeye:

And yes this is in Germany download package from CFC, I didn't mess something in my mods :p

The communists have invaded Nazi Germany, it would seem. That shouldn't be. That's a code that never got added, as I decided to take the lazy route and have Hitler's GG use the UnitClassOverrides functionality instead. I'll have it removed for the next version. It won't affect any games with Germany; Germany remains Lua-free :)

Thank you. Now one can enjoy ghost free Belgium and Carthage :D

Uhm... So does 'when GG is born receive science boost' work or not? :D

EDIT
...useless post, I read your answer one more time and understood everything :p

The hotfix has fixed the ghost problem and whatever you did to Belgium fixed the other problem as far as I can tell. Thank you!

How does one expend workers for Tourism when playing as Lenin?

I got my ideology and yet still can't seem to expend them. I can gift them but that doesn't do anything.

I did some reading on the HRE, and it says that there wasn't an official capital. How will you get around that for the civ? Use the "capital" for the empire during the rule of the leader?

The HRE is not a state or realm in any sense of the word, so no, there is no official capital, as is the case with the EU. However, the seat of the Emperor can be considered the next best thing. The seat - or at least where they were legitimised - of the first Emperor, even better, and that would be Aachen, which is what I have already as the Capital.
