Chinese Unification

I'm looking for 5-7 players to play the Chinese Unification scenario.

With the Warlords mod, by Jon Shafer, freshly converted to BTS by isenchine.

First come first serve as far as civ selection goes.
I'm open to rule suggestions for the game.

Wei for me, please. No gifting units/cities is the standard expectation.
 
I can't get this mod to load either. Has anyone had problems with 7-zip? I will probably try reinstalling steam in a different folder.
 
This sounds like fun. I haven't played PBEM games before, so I'll have to ask someone to show me the ropes if we manage to gather seven players.

If it's alright with everyone, I'd like to play as Han, the green faction.

I dont use 7-zip, but have you made sure that you keep the folder structure intact when unpacking the mod?
Else best ask in the release thread I've linked to in the first post.

No problem, its not different from a normal game of civ. The main difference is that after you end your turn a save file is generated in ...saves\PBEM\Gamename. Which you have to send on to the next player.
I'll be gathering everyones emails and send out a mail with all the information once we start the game.

Would this 7-zip version work for you?

Note: it's the exact same version as in the CFC Database.

Can you be more specific about the problem?
 
Bump, we got 3 to 5 players by my count depending if Quoth got the mod running and isenchine wants to play as well or is just providing tech support.
 
Sorry, I'm just tech support here :badcomp: - not interested in playing.
 
I figured out how to download and play mods so I am definitely interested in this if we get enough people. It will be my first PBEM so you all will have to help me.

That makes four, if Tigranes and Cethegus are still interested. I've to say I'd like at least one more player but if not 4 will have to do. I'm about to leave for a vacation so I the earliest I could start the game is the 21st. So plenty of time for players additional to join.
 
I am up too. We just need some dedicated Flev type of people here ;)
 
That's 4 players if Quoth manages to get his install running (again?).

Cethegus are you still around you'd make number 5?
 
I do not know what it is with me and mods. A few of the mods I have downloaded work but then some do not. I have Windows 10. I download and extract their files with 7zip. I put them in OS (C:), Program Files, Steam, steamapps, common, Civilization: BTS, BTS, and finally Mods.
