Dawn of Phoenicia

Himilco We already have a footprint in Europe and have made no significant military advancements. It would be better to wait until we were able to crush the Gauls under our feet with more advanced military technologies than to go to war now. As well, if we build an even more impressive economy and know more of the world we may be able to more easily wage war upon our enemies.

Mago marches in Gaul.

Instead of going for Lugodunon, a gaulish stronghold he goes to Burdigala meeating near to no resistance.

Gaul people of Quart Tarrak rioted, but the riot was supressed easily.

Lutetia defenders tried to keep the city, but they lost the battle and surrendered.

All of Gaul was under Carthaginian control.
All? But no! The small mountainous village of Lugodunon keep resisting against the conqueror.
Pety life for the camps of defenders.

After capture of Lugodunon all Gaul forces surrended.
Gaul was succesfully conquered by Carthaginians.

No leader that wants to settle the rest of Iberia and get back to discovering new techs?
War with Greece now would be a waste of lives and resources, and settling beyond the sahara a costly adventure with dubious gains.

Ok. I will add some more choices then.

No votes were casted, although options were added.
Thus elections are tied, I chose Himilco.

Tin isles were full of riches and hospitable people.
Trade relations with them improved.

New Phoenician Empire was the strongest empire in the world.
The world feared our army.

However, this didn't stop local rebellions.

Phoenician trade with Persians and Greeks was very profitable and brought new ideas.

Phoenicians explored west Africa and found new resources and riches waiting to be extracted. They found several colonies, but Golden Coast was the most important.

Its influence extends even in modern era.

It begun from a small city tributary to a Levantine kingdom and developped into one of the most important empire of ancient times.
