Anyone notice lately?

More people viewing CIV3 creation forums then Civ 4, Count tonite was 83 to 75 in favor of civ3 when I looked at it. Thats a change from just a few weeks back, not sure if its a trend but interesting

Civ3 was my first Civ, and it will be my favorite for ever, i still play it more that Civ4, even if its a few hours a month...

No way that happend! Ok I beleive you, but keep what you know, on the d-low(don't bump the link! thnx) I don't want old demons resurfacing or get you blacklisted lol (kidding)
A while back they juiced the numbers to fit in Civ4's favour, of course these actions can be proved justified by others, but coincidently It happpend around the same time my link woudn't go away. lol

Im not surprised Civ3 contines to climb or hold fast, or that Civ4's "easyier moddably' is proving to not be so enticing.

Civ3's biggest advantage is still the artists its got commited and not only their talent. Its a Direct result of sheer number of talent that makes the differance. This effect of having more who feel comfortable contributing is what makes the cream of the crop that much richer at the top.

Who needs to be sipping on JAVA/(scrip)? when you can wrestle a mean BIC(Trust me, Some are now noticing playing god with the AI ain't as simple as it once seemed. once they play with on line, they find another downer pops up to takes the other's place, but not til down the road) Its gunna be awile till one over there finnaly gets it right,....try when CIv5 rolls around.

Still it won't matter for most. Its helps to have the better gameboard once your done and mybe a more mature audience to appreciate it all. You tend to find Those guys here more. Those who realize a great strategy game from a game of 'Seasome Civ' and who appreciate these others who have expanded their 'proper' civ expierence. Ya They are some of the reason you see what you do.

DOn't think Im bias or anything, I owe CIv4. The guy from E BAy who was suppose to pick it up, shorted me two cents on my doller asking price.
Ive been accused of instigating wars of jihad between are two factions. Its so bad I can't walk that part town without running into a ruthless debate.
Still, Im not worried when Im there(4ums) I got the stuff to survive man(M O D experience!), and the friends with the grammer skills to back it up!

I hate seeing discussions degenerating into discussions of spelling and grammar.

Have you seen the "Civ3's Golden Age has begun" thread in the Creation&Customization forum? Apparently more people view the Civ3 modding forums over the Civ4 modding forums.

It's interesting that this happens to the General Discussions forums sometimes. It's happening already for some time in the Civ3 forums...

what i find more telling is that the stories/succession games forum has consistently higher views for Civ3. SG's aren't that suited for CIV, however, it's still surprising to see more view in Civ3. I thought there are more CIV SG's running

That's probably because of the NESes.

I'm a believer, but I know Civ 4 is killing us now, so I'm not going to make up numbers like some people.

General Discussions (No Warlords added for Civ 4) 28-5 Civ 4.
Strategy & Tips 36-3 Civ 4.
MP & PBEM 5-5.
Creation and Customization 91-75 Civ 4.
Stories and Tales 19-22 Civ 3.
Tech Support 8-1 Civ 4.
Mac 2-2.
GOTM 17-2.
Demo-Game 3-8 Civ 3.
HOF 4-0 Civ 4.

As you can see, Civ 4 is dominating us in all numbers, no matter what some people believe and make up.

All I see is some numbers you wrote down supposivly proving CIv4 dominates Civ3 in the mods dept . Sorry there not as clear as these " Make up" beatings, Civ3 loves to ifflict even more often!! Oh btw this was on the Civ4 side called " Has Anyone Noticed its Getting Quite Over Here?" _I guess not ALcosta?, -well on this you do, but I guess your saying now that CIv3 is sliding to catch up

When CIv4 loses every day to CIv3 it takes a lot bigger hit in the pride dept. Like losing a fight to your younger brother but roles reversed lol

Hows it going to perform when Civ5 is born? The way Civ3 is now? Beating its replacement every day in the partciaption polls!, Nah hardly it will still be losing to CIv3's "Made Up" numbers!.

Sorry AlCosta, but at the time when I am online, most Civ3 forums are viewed by more people than Civ4 forums.

Thanks Mirc. Its kinda heavy when a guy accuses you of making up numbers.. Im glad you showed me this way to refute those absurdities ......Notice are private forums where SOE and many others are worked on, arn't tallied but the same 'Projects" are added toCIv4's total. This fudging worked only so long to deceive . Even that wasn't enough to hide the truth.

SOE (You should know that, you're a member at their forums. ) isn't worked on here, in fact, barely any private mods are at all. The only one I can think of is LOTM, and there team is 8 at the most.

Numbers for C&C.

91-86 Civ 4.

I love Civ 3, but there's no reason at all to lie and say we're beating them in numbers, because we're not, when we do, it's during American night hours and work hours, so the numbers are obscured.

EDIT: Would you look at this? We're winning again! 94-85.

You should really look at the C3C&C thread about this. Way out of control.

Civ3 is my preference.

I do not like Civ4's graphics anyways, even the graphic modpacks made for Civ4.

If your were in on some you'd understand theres much more then your aware. A friendly Moderator here works in two clubs, Im in on one, theres that one you mention, Ok thats only of hand, but right there thats around half to whats listed over in the Seasame Civ 4ums

if added those factory staff were joined with the CIv3 digits you 'came up with' we woudn't hear from your at all tonight (you'd still be glued to the screen waiting for the right time to rise opportunity wise, while are guys are done the days work an chillin with the wives

Whats out of control the ratings or the topic. Way out of contol is what I'd use to some up accusation of directly agaisnt are/My word. Rrom my perspective, I see 4 members and counting called liers when I spit the actual screen shot of a intresting phenomenon occuring for all to see. This compared to a guy callin some digits on a screen 'the here all end all ' evidence that refutes all of us and proves us lyiers
