Guess I really should start uploading my stuff to the database, but maybe when I think I have honed my skills enough.

This is actually quite low poly for me, I normally am up around 1000, but this one is around 600 I think..

Looks very good. And yes, please upload all of your stuff into the database. I have plenty of "crap" there so don't think skills aren't good enough.

However, I’m not much but, I would advice that you should up load your files to the database. Your models, in my own opinion, are more then good enough to upload (especially the I-400 :goodjob: ). You can always replace them later with better models and this way more people will see them and download them.

Thanks. :) That is what I am doing now, uploading them! Much easier than I first though.. :)

we really can see we've got new professional unit maker here ;)
the unit has been added to my upcoming little patch for 5.3 scenario. so guys, u will have oppotrunity to play this unit soon :)))

General, r u working on battleship next?
 
I am working on the Kirov ship if that is what you mean.. Having a tough time with the skin though, grr. I am finding it really useful to use the blueprints to plan the skin, but this on, the top view was too cluttered, so I couldn't.. Looks OK at best right now..

how do u feel, will u be able to make some more sea units for my mod ? ( u want to stay on sea or i can request for my mod ground units as well? ) :goodjob:

I probably wouldn't mind. ;)

asioasioasio also asked me to help a little with the 1939 mod, boy is it cool to feel wanted. :p

I am not really making my own mod (Other than for personal use) so I think I can handle both of your request..

So whatever ship you feel you need mention it, and it will go on my list!

Edit: I'd prefer to stay at sea, but I might be convinced to try something else, but no humans, they are very tricky..

ok, thank u for ur help, in this case my mod really needs this units to be fully equiped with the nesserely units -

GeneralMatt....I wont bother telling you how awesome this unit looks as the others have already done so and I think you no longer need convincing of your skills.

Please get the idea out of your mind that your skills are not good enough yet, becuause all the units you have released have been excellent and more than worthy of uploading into the DB. Trust me when I say that you are making a lot of people happy.....even if most only download the units you make and dont post a response.

You just keep flooding the forum with these sweet units :goodjob:

Sure. :) The only thing was, is that even though personally I am impressed with the way the Typhoon turned out, it was by FAR the simplest one I did, from the actual modeling, to the UV mapping to the adding it into the submarines bone tree..

I am looking forward to the HMS Hood though, asioasioasio found this amazing reference of it, and it looks cool!
 
Did you bookmark the site I posted in your I-400 thread.

It has an extensive database of a lot of ships that participated in ww2. It includes side and top view diagrams for almost all of the ships. I dont know how to make 3d units but i noticed that unit makers take the side, top and front view and then build the shapes in their programs.

Yep, I bookmarked it, I wouldn't want to lose that resource! I got some easier to use blueprints for the Hood, but the other ones are coloured and I am going to try to use it for the skin!
