Afterworld- Is that it?

I destroyed the big powerful Entity. Then the storyboard/cutscene thing appeared explaining about the thing.

Is that it? Did I win or was it another defeat?
Why does it end that way (and explain to me what the heck. Some new world is created...) or what am I doing wrong (if it was a defeat)

Also, explain your efficient strategies for the game.

I had Sever being the long range shooter, then Ragah and I had Riest as the spotter. Jal was the repairer and Atticus was the guy who spawned sentinels and would destroy Bleeders at close range

You won. You destroyed the evil entity, and (in one of the previous tasks) Jal got the message through that the star must not be destroyed, because that would create a permanent hole through which both universes would connect.

Although there could of course be other ruptures in the time/space fabric, other weak spots through which the alien "evil" universe could trickle into ours.

Regarding strategy: Not very important imho as long as you have a healer (or two), stick together, and use ranged attacks. I guess there's a reason why this scenario is supposed to be harder after the 3.13 patch.

I hated the second Feral. I had to blow him up 3 times (but before I'd end the turn, I'd move Atticus away as the Feral is on low health but not destroyed, so after another round of shooting and retreating, the Feral is almost destroyed and then finally dead)
But from my retreating, I left security up, so I had to get the others to blow up all the combat sentinels before things got nasty (I had Riest spawn his own)

The Entity was easy, as you could stay 4 squares away and wear it down from a distance and then move in for the kill with the antimatter cannon.

What was up at the ending arena with the beams of light damaging everyone? They'd lose 2 strength points and I'd have to fortify them to heal them (then a beam of light hits them but no damage). It was so bad, I had all Gravebringers, except Ragah at a corner healing, while Ragah destroyed the Entity.

If this a victory, where's the score screen saying how awesome I was?
