Wikipedia: The MQ-1 Predator is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) which the U.S. Air Force describes as a MALE (medium-altitude, long-endurance) UAV system. It can serve in a reconnaissance role, and it can also carry and use two AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. The aircraft has been in use since 1995, and been in combat over Afghanistan, Bosnia, Serbia, Iraq, and Yemen.

use added animations (altered fighter animations - it uses propeller, but also shoot missiles (instead shooting from machine gun))

I recomend to use this setup in Art_def (sounds of airship fits better i think)

Global Hawk is better plane


No...Global Hawk is a more EXPENSIVE palne. Yeah it has a greater range but it cant shoot anything [offtopic]


Is there a way to set visibility range longer on this one? I gues you can make it start with that naval tech that increases visibilty. :confused:

Any recommendations for what size to put it in game? it shouldn't be the size of a fighter.
 
I used this:

<fInterfaceScale>1.0</fInterfaceScale>

but probably it can be smaller

yeah i think it's possible only by promotions - tough thewre's always recon mission for air units
 
i rember - lately i rarely make unit in one attempt - especially if it can't be done in couple of hours. And usually i mix modelling with other civmoddings - .xml, 2d graphics, planning , etc. - so the modding is fun not borring automatization.

Now i have on the desk Arado Ar-234 (animation in nifviewer and small cleanings in texture), U-2 Dragon Lady (painting texture, uvunwrap, and animating), and Fallschirmjaeger (modelling trousers, painting texture, uvunwrap, and animating) - i can't say wich will appear in wich order.

The only drawback at this stage is that there isn't a texture with civcolor available for this unit... :mischief:
Oh, I fully plan on fixing that. Right now, actually. Come back in a few minutes and I'll have it up here for everyone. :)

Ok, here it is. Just replace the files from the original download with the ones here and it should work fine.
