Imperium Offtopicum IV: Third's the Charm?

The Simla Conference

In response to the European Congress of Berlin, Indian statespeople organized a counter-conference of their own, despite being told not to do so by the Indian Government. Invites were sent to representatives of all nations.

In Simla, a counter-partition plan was unveiled:

At the Union of Nations, pre-empting the French delegates' cry of "Hypocrites!", the Indians quickly announced that the Simla Plan has no official backing from the Indian Government and that they still insist on there being no partition at all but adding "we'll be happy to accept it if other nations like it".

We reject this conference as utter hogwash, considering it's counter to our intentions.

Expand where you want to do
Country borders mean nothing
Attack what you want
Cause the rules don't give a screw

New day, new claims.

The sun has decided to cast it's enlightening rays upon the last 2 islands on mainland Japan, finally uniting the provinces under one, solid rule. And for celebration, we also take one neighboring Korean province.

Long live the Empire!

I want to actually see a freaking map of my claims before I choose another place.

Thorvald-
On a turn, instead of making claims, is it possible to build up your army/airforce/navy so when you put someone in the combat simulation thingy they'll have a larger than normal army/airforce/navy?

Nope. Fourth update is still pending me getting everything in order. I should have the revised map in an hour or two.

That assumes that we will be implementing the method of real military calculation, and I don't know how many people are open to the idea. I'd make a formal proposition in the UN thread, but it's being held hostage by the New World Order crowd.

Haha, that's a rather pessimistic way of putting it. Well, when all this partition stuff boils down how about we give armies a go?

Shared rule will have to be negotiated between players. link16 already holds Beijing, so unless you'd like to start off with a war for its control, you'll need to pick another spot.

Just started reading up on countries.

I know it's kinda water under the bridge, but Mathalmus-
a relatively large very well armed land force, with significant storage capacity for equipment stored underground in a heavily guarded area. there are currently 2000 active planes with 8000 planes in storage. the navy consists of 30 vessels: one Basil class supercarrier, 4 light carriers, and 25 destroyers. the outer areas of Constantinople contain the msot impressive military fortications anywhere. the total numbers is 750,000.
That's very... unlikely. 750,000 people for starters would send your economy plummeting, especially with the high taxes your supposed-to-be capitalism is supposed to have. Please be realistic.

Tailless-
Pragmatic. Does not follow either the socialist or the capitalist model.
Interesting. What exactly would that be like?

Thanks for the info! Okay, choosing new spot. Would Shanghai work?

Is the map in here the real world map? Disregard my post above then. Give me a second.

The official map is on the front page.

Shanghai would work. You may also stake a claim to four other nearby territories to get yourself grounded.

Okay, Shanghai it is. How do I post the indepth pictures, zoomed in on the territories?

Welcome to Asia! And as a welcoming gift, we send you a gift basket containing a small, hand held, Japanese flag. You'll be needing it soon.

Copy the map into Paint, edit as necessary, zoom in, hit the 'print screen' key, then open a new instance of 'paint' and hit Ctrl-V.
