History: The end of the United Kingdom meant the end of England and Scotland as common entity. After months of political in-fighting, Scotland finally formed its own, democratically elected government representing the entirety of the country.
Economy and Industry: Well regarded for its manufacturing industries, particularly in the role of oil, shipbuilding and whisky. Fishing plays a large part of Scottish industries, and the country boasts a dependable banking and tourist industry.
Domestic Policies: Advocates the development of industry and education sectors, and greatly funds these departments.
International Policies: Is part of the Commonwealth of Nations, and supports its actions around the globe. Seeks friendly ties towards North America and Europe.
Military: Scotland has an adequate airforce and navy, though the latter has some top-line vessels of the
Dundee-class cruisers. It is renowned for it's well trained soldiers and commando units. Scotland's forces may be small, but tough. If you have a problem, if no-one else can help, and if you can find them (hint: Scottish highlands), maybe you can hire, er, the Black Watch?
