Imperium Offtopicum IV: Third's the Charm?

I ask you do not let EF in, they are imperialists, and are continuing to fight me even though I gave into their demands.

Zelet, what did I do that made you mad at me, and what do I have to do so you would not object to my membership?

Because your a war monger and you hate colonization yet colonize Ethiopia my people feel threatned by you

They are aggressive, maybe even more so than me, and Japan, and we are pretty bad.

 Well at least you admit it... admitting the problem is the first step to overcoming it. ;)

Marian Federation and GUN, I dare you to show you have power in this world by doing something about this unprovoked attack.

We do not "have the power in this world." You make us sound like some omnipotent, overwhelming force; we are solely a defensive organisation, and this is why all offensives must be authorised, and they must have good reason.

How can you beat 20 million gun-owners who all have at least boot-camp level training anyway.

He has 1 billion people. Who is going to win.

I can your boot-camp men by superior weapons, training, and air, and naval support, as well as better tactics.

¡No olvide la cantidad de los soldados! - Don't forget the number of troops!

I find that funny coming from the guy who promised to stay in Brazil a while back, and recently attempted to gain Ethiopia, as well as Egypt, as well as Math's current nation. You dare care me imperialist?

I would like to drop out of GUN and request admission into the Commonwealth.

Also, Dommy, don't post 5 times in a row. Whatever you have to say really isn't that important.

This is becoming anti-climactic- the rebels, seeing my reforms, now gladly accept me as leader.

New profile!

  • Name (Official): Democratic Arabia
  • Name (Short): Arabia
  • Political Setup: A strict-lawed democracy in which the three branches (Executive, Judicial, Legislative) have equal power and say. The people have a strong say in the government. The popular vote elects the president, and the one-party (yet polyideological) legislature and the Supreme Council (A national law-enforcement group) approve the President.
  • Social Policy: Two words- Universal Suffrage
  • Foreign Policy: Friendly towards democracy. Prefers peace to war.

We applaud Arabia in its reforms. Doesn't mean the Eastern Federation Emperor is going step down any time soon.

ok...

can anyone tell what is the situation with Suriname is now? are we still facing Brazil and the NEA?

Actually, I never attacked Egypt, it was more to kill Math then to gain land. I also don't hate colinization so much as I don't want to see dominant European power in the Americas. NADTA is almost dead though, changing issues.

Tan, I know you don't. But you can at least tell France to stop the attack, and cut 'em from GUN if they don't.

Yep, EF can beat me, unless someone helps me out, but he'll have to kill every male in the population.

I'm not alone though. Tan, the sooner you declare on EF, the better. How did I provoke EF?

All imperialists call everyone else imperialist. That is the most ironic thing ever.

We accept the resignation of the Arab League, but offer them membership again if they ever wish to join.

As do we, though we're hesitant to convert to universal suffrage, having long been based on militarism and hardwork rather than democracy.

1) France's buisness is France's buisness, not GUN's.
2) Japan as well as France I believe are helping me in this war. If I have to kill every male, so be it. It won't happen like that. Unlike Dictator President Dommy.

I ask you refuse.

Tan, you're definitely gonna have to pick here, wouldn't you rather have me than him?

I ask you accept Suriname, so this small country does not get attacked again. I would like to request that the Marian Federation stay out of this war. Entering the war on either end is not at war beneficial to you. Declare on Brazil, and your Neo-Incans territories are in trouble. Declare on me, and France will invade. I believe you should stay neutral.

Suriname Requests the reinforcement of a few hundred thousand men, as dummy re-declared war on me. again.

As the Eastern Federation is in hot war against Brazil right now, I'm happy to help. Sending over food, weapons, ammunition, as well as 100,000 men to defend for right now. Most likely cannot send any more, due to the war front in Southeast Asia, as well as the China war, and the fight against Brazil in their homeland. I am willing to send quite a bit of supplies as well.

I would suggest that until the war is resolved, there can be no choice in membership. Until this drama is settled, it wouldn't be a good idea for GUN to align with either side, if only formally(our treaty would not apply to the current war).

Patagonia endorses Suriname to join Gun.

Given the nation's history, I'm sure some might have objections... I'll see if any nations have a disagreement with Suriname joining.

The Marian Federation will be staying neutral for sure unless GUN votes otherwise. We don't want to get involved in this ugly stew.

great :goodjob:

Suriname will offer a full Alliance for your trouble.

a Free trade agreement, defensive pact, the right to station as many soldiers as you wish in Suriname, economic assistance, etc.

the only thing you cant do is take over my country.

We will send 100,000 troops to help defend your nation, we will also send our 3 super carriers and their escort vessels.
@ Brazil this is not war but we feel the need to protect smaller nations from imperialistic powers.

And the GM simply states they don't want to manage the mess anymore, and with the rate of expansion this thread is having, I bet Thorvald has probably considered it.
"Neither lethargy, indifference, nor the general collapse of standards will prevent these couriers from eventually delivering some of your mail."

I've wrapped up two of the three outstanding battles (the ones before this all exploded), so with luck I'll manage the update in a few hours. This really wouldn't be such a problem if people confined themselves to one action/alliance/war/peace per turn.
