I don't know why I didn't get the territory in the middle of my nation, but I'll take that now plus the gray territories I colored.
Also, we backed away from northeastern Libya because we see Greece is going to take that.

Suriname news

we are changing the Country. since practically everything has being claimed and finalized, we feel the time is correct to post our final (more or less) country (and yes it is a successor state):

Guinean Union

(note: the Union will want French Guinea)

Population: 5 millon
Military Size: 50,000 active, 0 reserves, 0 paramilitary
Human Development Index: .834
Gross Domestic Product: 50 billion dollars (10,000 per capita)
Capital (and largest city): Paramaribo (now holds one million people)
Technology: Modern, barely. most of the most modern stuff are of a french design.
Foreign policy: Neutral, but we have alliances, defensive pacts, protection pacts, and who knows what else.

Army: completely modern due to the french. not capable of fending off a major enemy, unless terrorism is used.

Navy: still a couple Destroyers. will expand that.

Air force: 350 planes, all in service.

immigration policy: Very Relaxed

Understanding stability issues with future growth, the members in the Tribunate has been set to 500, with each state guaranteed 2 and the rest apportioned according to population.

Yugoslavia has been renamed Illyria after complains from non-Marian Slavs.

The Senate is now composed of 96 Senators, 3 from the full 32 states. 64 of the 500 tribunes are held in reserve for certain states. States are now allowed to choose how they select their Tribunes and how to elect their legislators/governors, but it must be done in a democratic or indirectly-democratic manner. Senators are still selected according to the model prescribed, but the provinces may choose how to control the processes that select each Senator.

Indeed. Peaceful actions that can, and should be taken include embargoing Brazil, and personal non grata of Brazilians in your nations land. I encourage all nations to do this until Brazil withdraws from attacking Suriname, a neutral state. It is a war of aggression, and should be prevented.

The Marian Federation expresses neutrality, but would like to assure the nations of the world that the Brazilian state seems to be getting increasingly unstable. With time, like the USSR, the inherently-unstable Brazilian regime will implode upon itself.

...what is after that, however, we have no idea. We merely hope the Amazon does not run red.

You can only claim one of those islands due to the fact you claimed 2 at home, and each island costs 2 because they're overseas.

I believe they are counted as micro-states and therefore only cost half.

The Baltic Empire believes that neutrality will be more beneficial to our nation than joining a military alliance.
