Dissatisfied with the war, protesters have taken to the streets in China, Vermont, and Brazil, threatening general strikes in major cities.
As a result of persistent abysmal approval, New England has descended into civil war. Rebels have seized control of home states and some territories abroad. They announce that they shall not relent until the "corrupt" régime is ousted.
The Germans' "Atoms for Peace" project seems to have caught on internationally. Any nation who decommissions a warhead through this programme will gain an extra rep point per salvage.

The NCSA decommissions a nuke for the Atoms for Peace program. In other news, mass evacuations of the state of South Carolina have began in response to threats of nucleur attack from the NEA. The government has evacuated Charleston and is now in an undisclosed location.
Attempts have been made to ally with the rebelling NEA forces and have been offered amnesty if they join the side of the NCSA.

NEW ENGLAND ALLIANCE FALLS APART
The New England Alliance falls apart today.
First, Portugal declared independence, and restored the republic. Even with that done, the years it had as a state was legendary, including the addition of the English language in their lives, and their anthem is now a modified version of "My Country 'Tis of Thee" with Portugal based lyrics.
Down in America itself, a communist nation, the Great Plains Federation, was declared, with their capitol being Detroit. The Primer currently wishes Ohio back, and the right to keep Kentucky, but is willing to make peace with all nations.

Finally, in occupied Britain, President Omega fled to their, where the troops are still loyal (I'm saying screw you to the map, as I'm playing as this nation) to him. By now, President Omega (Whom is President in name only, as a law was passed to keep him into power until the war ends) is old and is dying, knowing probably he will pass on as one of the most hated man ever. Still, he gives one last order on his death bed to secure Britain for a new nation for the New England values. His general in Britain, General George D. Sherman, now organizing the occupation zone into a military junta, takes it upon himself to follow Omega's last wish, declaring The Kingdom of New England. While pretty much everyone knows it was named because of the New England Alliance, Sherman states it was called so because "It is an usher of a new age for England, thus New England".
