Imperium Offtopicum: Ab Antiquo

tailless, you might want to edit the Op and subsequent posts so that we don't have two sets of rules running allat once.

We had some beginning of an agreement with the Romans on how to settle the Epirote question and then they went AFK…

We will make an investment of 12 Income to raise a garrison at Attica.
Another 5 Income will be spent upgrading said province; 5 income will upgrade our Cyclades and we'll upgrade military quality and Army quality by +1 each, spending our remaining 2 Income there.

As for troop deployments, we'd like to hear an answer from the Romans about our latest proposals.

The Roman Republic will be claiming Lugdenensis and Narbonensis, but not Epirus, and have signed both a non-aggression and a defensive pact with the Celtic Empire.

Having been directed to the income table, I'll simply put my entire income (XXVIII sestertii) into culture, giving Rome a projected XLII (42) culture.

Constantinopolitans: back out of Epirus if you know what's good for you.

Constantinople: remember that we have a defense pact with Illyria.
Our logistical army will march north from Achæa while our Garrison is being recruited in Attica. Our fleet in the Ionian sea covers our advance from… piratical incursions.
Our other fleets in the Ægean will protect us from incursions along the sea and stand ready to reinforce any attacs on our Attican possessions, along with our Cycladean army, if that were necessary.

tailleskangaru, a question: is the Sea of Marmara a different tile from the Ægean Sea tile?

Great! So I don't need to move my fleets there to protect the crossing across the Dardanelles.

Just for the record, I didn't actually state that I wish to colonise Agri Decumantes, but I do wish to confirm that I will.

Here's a map for those who cannae read simple Trojan script:

*waits eagerly for update*

Constantinople: remember that we have a defense pact with Illyria.

The Illyrian people will support their Trojans allies against any acts of aggression.

Oops i thought that was what you meant by "Central and southern france" Thanks for clearing that up :)

Illyria would like some clarification from it's two allies. While the peaceful agricultural monarchy has vowed to held defend both Rome or Troy from aggressors we don't know the relations between Rome and Troy itself... The peaceful succession raises our hopes of peace between all three nations but a clearer statement would be appreciated for our God-Kings peace of mind.

So farT we have successfully worked out an agreement whereby we all agree that we are in agreement about killing Zoidberg for eating the flag defending our mutual allies the Illyrians should they be attacked.

huh okay i have been PM-ed the next update to post in the thread. I don't understand why it was done this way instead of just posted here but i'll follow Tailleskangaru's orders. One second guys update to follow:

Comments:

People on the Caspian: I treat the Caspian as a Sea, not a lake. Meaning you can build navies in the Caspian and conduct amphibious assaults across it.

Darth Caesar didn't have enough income to build or support another army, so I didn't give him one. Also, he didn't specify which disputed territory he wants to move into.

I got no orders from CivGeneral

It is now Turn 5. Update at the usual time.

βακτριαν κινγδομ

Military: I send my desert fox army from the south to occupy the enclave region of Daha. Create a new army in the Steppes and send it to Scythia to invade the region with the logistics army.Use all my money to upgrade bordering provinces (Upgrade the Steppes
as much possible). Also send my army from Saka Huamuvarga to the Steppes.

Diplomacy: I am asking that nobody to claims the provinces of Parsa, Susiana, Makran & Sind

The Holy Hittite See throws all 75 of our income into army quality, which should give us +75 army quality, if We understand correctly... Not that We foresee Ourselves ever having to use it...

... And with that the Holy Hittie See just became the Most Powerful Nation in the known world. Does all that Culture still feel good WIM? :p

I'm suddenly quite glad their is a sea in-between our territories and that the Hitties have a weak navy.

The Illyrians will declare their plans soon but for know the God-King would like to know whether the Celts had any designs on Scandia?
