look to the far right of them, they say the sizes there, the larger the number the larger the map.

Now if your using Warlord maps you have to make a copy of the map and place it directly in the mapview folder and left click on the map and place it in the mapview.exe file(should be the orange colored M), dont let go of the left click until it is in the file ok.
 
Id like a huge map for warlords 2.08 with realistic resource placement, thats flat, no wrap around, similar to this, except with all of turkey, saudia arabia, and a little more into nubia. The default number of civs, and random start locs would be cool to.

Thanks for offering your services. If you could please make a map for me. I want a LARGE or Huge map of Japan AND Korea, and a tiny bit of China in the north. So I can make a scenario based on Japanese invasion of Korea for one. Another where, South Korea is against the Communist North Korea, Japan and China being independent. Would like this to be for Warlords. As they have a Korean civ with it.
Im not sure what kind of map your after, but I have two links to base the idea from.

strategyonly, I tried putting it in the warlords public maps folder, and the warlords custom maps folder, and in both cases, when the game loads, it immediately says that youve been defeated, and the game is over....???
 
Ah sorry bout that, 1. Size you want it. (huge or large which ever is better)
2. For Warlords
3. Resources leave it blank, I can fill that in.
4. You've got a picture I linked.
5. Y axis like NORTH.
6. Forrest none(ill do that), just the outline the country if pos
7. Mountains, According to CIA Fact book. Korea is a rather mountainous country. Terrain:
mostly hills and mountains separated by deep, narrow valleys; coastal plains wide in west, discontinuous in east
8. 4 players or none, I can do that.

OK heres what i have, i put very little forest in, no resources, made it just a little bigger in places, no rivers either, hope you like it, :xmastree: :p

Dont know exactly what you mean, "without have civs", if you do that you cant play??:confused:
Unless you mean you want what you have at a certain point, then save it in WB??
 
I mean place civs on it after you create/edit the map. Right now, in order to use World Builder, I have to start the game and select civs to play against. I can't just create the map and save it.

Since the map is a text file I assume it's done there via a text editor.

Nope all you need is Notepad.
 
Could you make a Mediteranian map with all of Anatolia and the Gaza Strip/West bank etc. back up to the end of North Africa and the Iberian Peninsula. No Northern Europe

. Civ IV vanilla
. Standard size
. Resources and Terrain all done
