Pre=turn - Swap a couple of cities to harbors.

Use some scientists in small towns to speed up research. It goes from 17 turns to 10.

460AD - England starts Sun Tzu and drop off an AC near Hareid, elite archer kills it.

470AD - Trondheim build a harbor -> archer.

480AD - Birka builds harbor -> aqueduct, join 2 workers into the city.

490AD - England have an issue with Hareid, as they drop off an AC and a horse.

Copenhagen aqueduct -> market.
Stockholm market -> harbor.

Lose a horse against AC, another horse kills it.
Horse kills horse and promotes to elite.

500AD - England drops off yet another horse, elite archer kills it.

510AD - Get bored and raze Nippur, it won't grow for a long time anyways.

MM every city to the last coin, Invention in 4 turns.

520AD - Not much.

530AD - Stockholm harbor -> library.

540AD - Byz wants to talk, that won't happen. Then half a dozen dromons shows up, they sink one of our galleys. They start Sun Tzu as well.

550AD - We learn Invention, turn off research so we can gather some gold.

Bergen market -> aqueduct.

Next player, watch out for those dromons south, there are a couple on the other side too, plus a pair of english galleys. Beware of landings. :)

Change builds to whatever you seem fit.

Golden age wouldn't hurt us at this stage, so start prepping for war overseas. We need more galleys on the east side, so we can ship units quickly.

I just thought of something funny. We have berserkers (soon), who can attack towns from galleys. Then the tricky part comes when we're surrounded by dromons and have to get to one of those towns.

And if we pull that off and take an Ottoman town or two, Lizzy sits on the island waiting with her AC's. :lol:

Notes: Next player should start invasion (Trondheim currently has 5 berserks and 7 galleys
An (or a couple) empty veteran galley to accompany regular full galleys would be nice so dromons can't kill berserks
More berserk-producing cities looks desirable
I hope Ansar, azzaman, or madviking plays before gozpel; he's already in one more two-man roster than he would like

preturn- load berserkers into galleys, they are headed towards Edrine.

ibt- England drops off 2 AC's.

660 AD- Oslo library -> Medieval Infantry. Hareid galley -> horseman. Cat bombards AC and lose 3 horsemen against the AC's but manage to kill them. Berserker attacks and GA begins. Berserks take Edrine and promotes to elite.

ibt- England drops off an AC at Edrine, Osman approaches with 2 archers, 2 spears, and 1 chariots.

670 AD- Berserks promotes to elite, and jungles are almost completely gone.

ibt- Babylon drops off a settler bowman pair in the bab colony island.

680- Units are healed, so I abandon Edrine, now units are heading towards Iznik. Kill bab settler pair.

ibt- Celts ask for peace, I tell them to take a hike.

690- Aarhus berserk-> berserk. Molde trebuchet -> horseman. And another galley with berserks head off with our berserk invasion.

ibt- England drops off an AC down in the silky tundra land.

700 AD- Cuzco horseman -> horseman. Bergen berserk-> berserk. Oslo MI -> berserk. Birka market-> berserk. Stavenger berserk->berserk. Odense treb -> treb. Karasjok treb ->galley. both AC and horseman are dead. Also, Iznik is ours. But it will probably be razed next turn.

Summary for these 5 turns: Berserks are fun.:) What should be my next target, Coventry or Hastings? :cool:

Well, can we get this rickety ship running again, we have a a difficult task in front of us.

And yes, I can only play over weekends from now on, so if someone handlily slips a save during that time...I'll get it. :)
